Abstract: A seat structure has a main body and a seating surface element attached to the main body extending in a longitudinal direction. A back element is connected to a rear end of the seating surface element and is reclinable and extends in a vertical direction. The back element includes a back plate and a pair of back rods respectively positioned on both lateral sides of said back plate. An upper end flap is connected to an upper end of the back plate in a forward tiltable manner. A displacement member is supported on the back rods and is vertically displaceable. A first connection element connects the displacement member and upper end flap to tilt the upper end flap forward according to displacement of the displacement member.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus for monitor mirroring in the display of data requiring confidentiality is disclosed, including a computer system, an identification unit that identifies the data requiring confidentiality, and a filter unit that filters the identified data requiring confidentiality, so that only the filtered data and data not requiring confidentiality are shown on the monitor. The screen content of the monitor can thereupon be mirrored onto a further monitor.

Abstract: Data is analyzed by a computer for the automated creation of a new data structure for information technology objects. The objects represent technical components from the mechanical engineering sector or the electrical industry and are assigned to a company. The objects to be structured are captured and then subjected to a parsing. Technical relationships are then created between the parsed objects to construct technical metrics. The data structure is derived from the technical metrics.

Abstract: An apparatus and method is described for determining the location of a object inside a patient. Three dimensional image data of the patient is obtained by an imaging modality such as a C-arm X-ray device. The same or another imaging modality may be used to obtain projection radiographic images, having a coordinate system that can be registered with respect to that of the three dimensional image. The location of one or more features of a medical treatment device such as a needle or a catheter introduced into the imaging filed of view is determined either by an operator or by image analysis, in at least two projection radiographic images, and the position of the feature located in the three-dimensional volume. The projection on a radiographic image of a vector joining a first and a second position is used to assist in guiding the medical treatment device inside of the patient.

Abstract: A system and method is disclosed for determining performance bonds for fixed payoff products, i.e. contracts which payoff a fixed amount based on the outcome of an underlying event regardless of the value thereof. The worst outcome of the overall portfolio, which may contain more multiple instruments, is calculated, allowing the portfolio to have both long and short positions on the same underlying event and offsets among instruments within the portfolio. A universe of outcomes is constructed including single events with single outcomes, and the probability thereof, and single events with multiple outcomes, each with a probability thereof. Each outcome has an associated price and probability. Low probability events will have low values, resulting in a lower margin requirement. The margin requirement is then the amount of the maximum loss that the portfolio can sustain for any possible outcome of the underlying event, adjusted for the probability thereof.

Abstract: The invention relates to a coupling unit (24) for transmitting high-frequency mechanical vibrations from a vibration generator (12) onto a tool (34). Said coupling unit comprises in input part (22) and an output part (30) that are interconnected via two identical vibration bars (26, 28), said bars being off-set from each other. The bars may have the shape of quadrants to provide the output movement in a direction that forms an angle of 90° with the direction of the input movement.

Abstract: A system for trading comprises a processor and a memory. The processor is configured to: receive an indication to automatically group a set of investment instruments; determine a set of possible strategies from the set of investment instruments; determine a set of groupings of strategies from the set of possible strategies; and determine one or more selected groupings from the set of groupings of strategies based at least in part on a selection criteria. The memory is coupled to the processor and configured to provide the processor instructions.

Abstract: A storage container system has a plurality of container bases and lids. Each base has a bottom, a continuous side wall extending up from the bottom and terminating at a top edge, an interior storage space within the side wall above the bottom, and an open top bounded by the top edge. Each lid has a main panel section, a perimeter skirt around the main panel section, a top side, and a bottom side. Each lid is configured to close off the open top of any one of the plurality of container bases by connecting a part of the perimeter skirt to the side wall near the top edge. Each lid has a first connecting structure with a lid-to-lid component and a mating lid-to-lid component. Each lid-to-lid component is configured to connect to the mating lid-to-lid component on any other one of the plurality of lids to connect any two of the plurality of lids together. Each lid also has a lid-to-base component, which is part of a second connecting structure and is different from the first connecting structure components.

Abstract: A system is described for optimizing lead close rates. The system may create a seller scoring model that may be “trained” by a sales lead data over a period of time. The scoring model may be used to measure the performance of sellers in terms of handling and closing sales leads. The scoring model may be used to predict the sellers' close rates for future leads. The system may normalize the sellers based on lead volume to increase the confidence level in the scoring model. The system may utilize the scoring model to determine lead specific handling instructions for future leads to optimize sellers' close rates.

Abstract: A bowel management system includes a waste collection catheter having at least two distinct sections. The first section is patient proximal when disposed in the patient's rectum and has durometer hardness in the range of about 50 A to about 90 A. The second catheter section is connected to the first section and has durometer hardness in the range of about 5 A to about 49 A. A selectively collapsible, substantially spherical retention balloon is attached coaxially and exterior of the first catheter section such that the proximal-most end of the retention balloon is coincident to the proximal-most end of the first section of the waste collection catheter, the substantially spherical retention balloon having an inflated size so as to be sufficiently large enough to retain the patient proximal end of the catheter in the patient's rectum without being so large as to trigger a defecatory response in the patient.

Abstract: A stroller has a frame assembly, a seat assembly mounted to the frame assembly, and a hub assembly carried by the seat assembly. The hub assembly has a hub axis, a first hub part connected to the stroller, and a second hub part connected to the first hub part and to the seat assembly. A cup holder is connected to the first hub part. The second hub part and the seat assembly can be rotated about the hub axis relative to the first hub part to adjust a recline position of the seat assembly while the cup holder does not rotate therewith.

Abstract: An improved x-ray system having a DAP measurement chamber is provided. An x-ray system has a radiation path, which extends between an x-ray radiation source and a detector. A beam splitter is arranged in the radiation path, the beam splitter being used to inject visible light into the radiation path. The DAP measurement chamber is arranged in the radiation path between the x-ray radiation source and the beam splitter. An improved collimator having a DAP measurement chamber is also provided.

Abstract: A brake assembly for a stroller has a wheel rotatable about a wheel axis and a plurality of pockets on the wheel spaced from and circumferentially around the wheel axis. A brake lever has an actuator arm and a link arm fixedly connected to one another and is movable between a braking orientation and a released orientation. A boss is driven by the link arm between a braking position and a released position corresponding respectively to the braking and released orientations of the brake lever. A biasing mechanism is configured to bias and retain the boss into engagement with one of the plurality of pockets when the brake lever is moved to the braking orientation and to bias and retain the boss out of engagement with the plurality of pockets when the brake lever is moved to the released position.

Abstract: A child containment system includes a child containment structure defining an interior space to be occupied by an infant and including an infant support surface within the interior space, and an infant support unit configured for use in a first operational mode in which the infant support unit is coupled to the child containment structure and disposed within the interior space above the infant support surface. The infant support unit and the child containment structure include respective connectors to secure the infant support unit in the first operational mode. The infant support unit includes a frame configured for use of the infant support unit in a second operational mode in which the infant support unit is independent of the child containment structure.

Each of the plurality of reference electrodes are configured to transmit or receive a signal to or from the electrode, respectively. A processor is operable to determine a position of the catheter as a function of an electrical characteristic based on the signals. The plurality of reference electrodes are not positioned on or in a body surface along three mutually orthogonal axes.

Abstract: A large display is provided for the representation of medical images. The large display comprises at least a first and a second zone which can be controlled and operated independently of each other. Furthermore, an image configuration is provided which describes the representation on the large display during normal operation. Also provided is an emergency image configuration which describes the representation in the second zone of the large display in the event of failure or fault of the representation in the first zone. In the event of a fault, provision is made for switching over to an emergency operating mode in which the representation in the second zone is determined by the emergency configuration. The present embodiments have the advantage of providing protection against a failure of the large display, failure of which would disrupt medical operation.

Abstract: A hair brush includes a brush head and a bristle/handle assembly. The head includes a cylindrical barrel with a plurality of apertures in it, and the bristle/handle assembly includes a handle and a bristle tree assembly. The bristle tree assembly includes a central bristle rod, a plurality of bristles radially extending from the rod, and a connecting rod extending between the bristle rod and the handle. The bristle rod is positioned within the barrel, and the bristles extend through the barrel apertures in an extended position. The brush head and the bristle/handle assembly are not attached to each other, and instead they slide longitudinally relative to each other. When the handle and the barrel are slid apart from each other, the bristle rod travels with the handle to retract the bristles to a retracted positioned further within the barrel.
