Abstract: A disconnect device for an aircraft survival kit including a container and a lid secured thereto with a torso harness and anti-rotation strap associated therewith. The disconnect device includes a body adapted to be mounted relative to the kit, with the body including a recess, in accordance with one embodiment, adapted to enclose a portion of the kit therein, and a support assembly extending outwardly from the body and including a cavity adapted to receive an end of the harness therein. A locking device is provided and adapted to extend through the support assembly and the end of the harness to provide securement of the harness to the kit so as to obtain removal of the harness from the disconnect device for replacement thereof when the locking devise is disengaged such that the lid may remain secured to the container when the harness is replaced. The support assembly includes a pair of spaced apart arms integrally joined with the body and defining the cavity for receiving the end of the harness therebetween.

Abstract: A support assembly for a hand gun having a rifle-like unit. Sighting means is provided for use in assembled relation with the support assembly, and mounting means is utilized for removably securing the sighting means relative to the upper end so as to obtain adjustment thereof. Coupling means is associated with the support assembly and is adapted for receiving a hand gun in removably coupled relation thereto adjacent to the front end. Holding means is provided for maintaining the barrel of the hand gun in fixed position during use thereof, and the holding means includes a vertically extending channel having a resilient arm associated therewith for maintaining the barrel in removably positioned confinement within the channel.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for use in creating a prosthetic denture device such as a denture component formed of a set of hard teeth bonded within an adjustable frame assembly. The frame assembly may be completely or substantially formed having adjustable frame portion which is formed from a composition that is centrifugally cast, and which when cured becomes rigid but not completely polymerized and therefore capable of being subsequently remolded with finger pressure when elevated in temperature. In this manner the adjustable frame portion is remoldable and conformable to desired portions of the oral cavity in the creating of an artificial denture.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an article for use in creating a prosthetic denture device that is an impression tray or a denture component formed of a set of hard teeth bonded within a frame assembly formed of a permanent substantially rigid hard frame portion and an adjustable frame portion that is integrally joined to the rigid frame portion and forms part of the frame assembly. The adjustable frame portion is formed from a second composition that is centrifugally cast, and which when cured becomes rigid but not completely polymerized and therefore capable of being subsequently remolded with finger pressure when elevated in temperature. In this manner the adjustable frame portion is remoldable and conformable to desired portions of the oral cavity in the creating of an artificial denture, and the rigid frame portion formed from the first composition concurrently remains fixed as the adjustable frame portion is remolded.

Abstract: A wallet guard is disclosed for use with a wallet and adapted to be used when placed in a pocket having a lower seam and a pair of side seams defining the width thereof to prevent removal therefrom. The wallet guard comprises a base at one end of the guard having a front edge and a rear edge with a support member integrally formed with the base and extending upwardly therefrom and adapted to be slipped into the wallet. A pair of arms extending upwardly from the base is provided with each arm including a lower section integrally coupled to the base and an upper section terminating in a free end. The arms are movable between an open position and a closed position. In the open position the distance between the free ends is normally greater than the width of the pocket such that the arms will be biased inwardly by the side seams when inserted into the pocket with the base adjacent the lower seam to provide the upper portion of the pocket in tension.

Abstract: An assembly adapted for attachment to a penlight body, comprising housing means formed with a rear end and a front end in longitudinally spaced relationship to each other and an axially extending aperture extending inwardly from the rear end. The aperture is adapted to receive the bulbed end of the penlight body in seated telescopic relation thereto, and first magnetic means extending circumferentially on the housing means in spaced relationship to said front end and terminating in a free end thereof is used. Shoulder means is disposed intermediate the magnetic means and the front end with viewing means adapted to be mounted on the shoulder means. Coupling means having an inner end and a spaced apart outer end with an axially directed bore extending inwardly of the inner end is provided for securing the viewing means in removable fixed relationship to the first magnetic means by means of a magnetic force formed between the first magnetic means the coupling means.

Abstract: A number problem game which comprises a playing board having a planar surface thereon, with an odd number of squares arranged in an equal number of horizontal and vertical rows intersecting each other on the playing board, as well as a plurality of playing elements with each element having a different numbered indicia thereon. The elements being arrangeable on the squares of the board to satisfy a predetermined value which is satisfied by the arithmetical equation: ##EQU1## such that when the plurality of elements are properly positioned on the squares, the sum of the numbered indicia on the elements on each of the horizontal and vertical rows is equal to X, and a plurality of borders on the playing board in surrounding relationship to respective groups of odd numbers of the squares are provided. Each one of the borders having indicium thereon equivalent to one of the predetermined values of X.

Abstract: An automatic temperature responsive assembly for ventilating through a roof a confined space to the atmosphere whereby heat buildup in the confined space may be released from the confined space or fresh air permitted to enter therein. The assembly comprises housing means adapted to be coupled to the roof of the confined space and having an opening extending therethrough with cover means operatively associated with the housing means and mounting means operatively associated with the housing means for pivotally securing the cover means thereto, so as to be movable between a generally open position and a generally closed position for enclosing the opening. A temperature responsive drive assembly is mounted to detect temperature changes in the confined space and adapted to actuate in response to temperature changes within a predetermined range, and camming means is pivotally secured relative to the housing means and including a camming surface thereon for engaging the drive assembly.

Abstract: A receptacle device for carrying food and beverage products is disclosed having a housing with a cavity therein and a cover detachably mounted on the housing. An outer chamber is provided with mounting means for removably retaining the outer chamber within the cavity. An inner chamber is also provided, and the inner chamber is adapted to be received within the outer chamber in telescopic relation thereto for defining a fluid chamber therebetween. Alignment means for maintaining the inner chamber and the outer chamber in fixed spatial relationship to each other for defining the fluid chamber therebetween is provided as well as a plurality of open-top food storage containers adapted to be received within the inner chamber and having a removable lid associated with each one of the containers. Closure means is operatively connected to the cover for yielding urging the containers in confined relationship within the inner chamber, and the inner chamber in removably fixed relationship to the housing.

Abstract: A safety disc assembly for a bicycle having a wheel with an axle, rim and a plurality of radially extending spokes between the axle and rim. The safety disc assembly includes a first and second wheel disc, with each wheel disc adapted to be mounted on a bicycle wheel intermediate the rim and the axle on oppositely disposed sides of the spokes. The first and second wheel disc each includes a pair of co-acting disc members, with each one of the disc members including a contoured outer perimeter and a contoured inner perimeter with a terminal wall extending therebetween. The contoured perimeters are adapted to extend in spaced relationship to the rim and to the axle, respectively. Alignment structure for permitting abutting engagement between each pair of the disc members on the first and second wheel discs is provided so as to permit the disc members to be assembled on the wheel without the removal thereof from the bicycle.

Abstract: Apparatus for use in personal dental hygiene care comprising an elongated member formed at least in part of a piezoelectric member with a pair of contacting surfaces intermediate the respective ends thereof with a brush member adapted to be received within the human mouth and moved across tooth and gingival surfaces and extending from one end of the elongated member. A casing adapted to be held in the hand is provided and is of a length at least equal to the piezoelectric member and having an elongated bore adapted to receive the piezoelectric member of the elongated member therein. Sealing means in the bore to engage the elongated member in readily releasable and in a fluid-tight fashion is used.

Abstract: A sit-up exercise apparatus adapted to be utilized in conjunction with a door having spaced apart vertically extending surfaces and a bottom intermediate the surfaces. The apparatus comprises a frame having oppositely disposed sides and adapted to be removably secured to the door. The frame includes an elongated base adapted to extend below the bottom of the door, and front and rear members, each one of the members having an oppositely disposed lower end connected to the base and an upper end with spaced apart inner and outer walls intermediate the ends. The inner walls adapted to extend in overlapping relation with the surfaces of the door. The inner walls oppositely disposed with respect to each other defining a space therebetween greater than the width of the door defined by the surfaces so as to readily permit the positionment of the door therebetween.

Abstract: A liquid solution and method for cleaning, polishing and lubricating the magnetic record/playback heads of tape recorders is provided comprising;(a) a mixture of micropulverized inorganic oxides;(b) a mixture of lower alkyl silanes;(c) an alkaline earth metal carbonate;(d) a long chain fatty acid having from 16 to 20 carbon atoms; and(e) a solvent mixture of lower alkyl alcohols having from about 1 to 4 carbon atoms.

Abstract: An electronic typewriter comprising portable housing means having a typewriter keyboard comprising a plurality of individual finger keys on the housing means and being readily engageable by the user thereof, with chamber means in the housing means for containing a replaceable supply of paper. The paper having an emulsion sensitive to one portion of the light spectrum as an activating agent for producing tonal changes in the emulsion, and sensitive to another portion of the light spectrum as a retarder to stop further tonal change in the emulsion. Grid means is operatively associated with the housing means and extends in a substantially straight line to produce printed lines, with the grid means comprising printing filaments to which the paper is exposed, and the filaments being capable of producing light in the portion of the spectrum for producing the tonal changes in the emulsion.

Abstract: A temperature anticipator and night light apparatus which may be conveniently utilized with existing heating systems by mounting the apparatus within an air-flow influencing distance from a conventional thermostat which controls the heating system. When operating, the apparatus provides a convection flow of heated air during prescribed time intervals in order to cause the thermostat to turn off the heating system prior to reaching the setting thereon.
