Abstract: A lathe tool assembly includes a pair of set screws that reduce vibration of a work piece that is being machined. A clamp set screw passes through a clamping assembly to a chip breaker that covers a cutting bit. The end of the clamp set screw bears against the chip breaker. A lateral motion inhibitor screw engages threads within a hole within a cutting bit holder and threads within a hole through the cutting bit.

Abstract: A video poker machine provides images of five card poker hands. A player may make a draw whereby selected cards of a poker hand are replaced by newly dealt cards thereby forming a second poker hand. The player may make a wager that the first poker hand has a rank greater than a known rank. The player may additionally wager that the rank of the second poker hand is higher than the rank of the first poker hand. A bonus payout may be made based upon the rank of one of the hands.

Abstract: A hard rubber plate forms a striking surface that covers most of a front face of a body of a club head of a putter. The thickness of the plate prevents an uncovered edge of the front face from striking a golf ball. The front face has an arcuate shape that indicates a part of the striking surface that ideally strikes the golf ball. A sighting fin extends rearward from the front face. Abstract: A toolbox security frame includes a lower frame that may be placed within a cage with a rear member of the lower frame extending therefrom. The rear member has ends that extend to the exterior of the lower frame. Each of the ends has a lock bar hole therethrough. Sides of a lower part of the cage form lock bar passageways that are each in registration with one of the lock bar holes. A front of the lower cage has a member with a notch therein. A front member of the lower frame has a padlock receptacle with a receptacle hole therethrough. The padlock receptacle extends to the exterior of the lower frame where it is within the notch. A central part of a U shaped lock bar includes a pair of tabs with a hole therethrough that are in registration with the receptacle hole. The lock bar has sides that each extend through one of the passageways and one of the lock bar holes.

Abstract: A manually bendable strip is made from a stainless steel ribbon within a vinyl sheath. The sheath with the stainless steel ribbon are encased within a casing made from a soft fabric. A central region of the strip is a bottle holder in the shape of an open ended ring. Ends of the ring form tongs that can fit onto a baby's torso. A fabric strip is tied about a junction formed by the bottle holder and the tongs.

Abstract: In a NO BUST 21 (BLACKJACK) game, a player has an option of having a dealer replace a draw card that causes the player's hand to bust. When a hit does not cause the player's hand to bust, the player has a surrender option. When the player's hand has a total point value less than “21”, the player has an option of doubling down.

Abstract: A coded representation of a verification number is printed in a bar code strip. The strip is embedded in a face of a die. The face is scanned by a scanner that is programmed to provide an indication that the coded representation is printed on the strip.

Abstract: A burn side of a compact disc is maintained in contact with edges of triplet blades while the disc is moved relative to the blades. In one embodiment, the disc is manually moved into and out of an enclosure where the blades scratch the burn side. In another embodiment, a paper shredder provides power to counter rotating rollers that transport the disc through an enclosure where the blades scratch the bum side.

A bend of the first group is made to bring sides thereof into contact with each other. The bend is maintained by a cloth mask that is sewn about the first group. In a second embodiment, a head of a doll is a polystyrene ovoid. A rope with a hollow center has a center section that extends over the head. Abstract: A highway hazard marker is housed within a disc shaped high impact plastic housing, an upper portion of which is transparent. A plurality of LEDs are circularly disposed proximal to the side of the upper portion. A ring counter provides signals to transistors that sequentially drive the LEDs. Excitation provided to the ring counter is controlled to cause a desired current through the LEDs.

Abstract: In a first phase of a video poker game, a video poker machine displays an image that includes four cards, face up, of a standard deck of cards. A payout is disgorged by the machine in response to the four cards being a predetermined combination. In a second phase of the game, a player may cause an exchange of any of the four cards for a randomly selected card from the deck. Concurrently with the exchange, an image of a fifth card is displayed face up, thereby providing a video display of a five card poker hand.
