  • Patent number: 8347645
Abstract: A hydrogen fuel cell driven HVAC and power system for powering a vehicle during engine-off time. The system includes a power storage and fuel cell conversion unit integrated with a high efficiency reverse cycle heat pump to provide cab comfort and auxiliary power to a vehicle when the engine is off. Hydrogen gas is generated from vehicle wasted energy during coasting, braking and at times of engine peak performance and is safely stored in metal hydride storage containers at low pressure. During engine-off time, a fuel cell draws from the stored hydrogen and works in conjunction with the heat pump to heat and cool and provide electrical power to the vehicle. The system is a green energy solution to anti-idling regulations as it produces no harmful EPA emissions as it provides air conditioning and power to the vehicle during engine-off time.

  • Patent number: 8258968
Abstract: Hand held Remote Transponder Breathalyzer comprises of a portable breathalyzer device having a breath sensor circuitry used for converting given breath sample content into electronic signals; and a processor for storing a toxic breath setting and processing received conditioned electronic signals, and for comparing the received electronic conditioned signals with a preset threshold setting stored in the memory storage of the processor, and accordingly controlling the functional operation of a uniquely coded transponder circuitry. If given breath sample into the transponder breathalyzer sensor generated electronic conditioned signal is below toxic breath setting threshold. The processor upon receipt of the non-toxic electronic signal transmits a signal to activate for a preset time the functional operation of the transponder circuitry.

  • Patent number: 7993055
Abstract: Disclosed are apparatus for assisting a person in the correct administration of medicine and methods for beneficially using such a device. The apparatus comprises an electronic timing mechanism which executes a dosing schedule, the dosing schedule being comprised of at least one dosing time interval. One or more annunciators are activated at the end of at least one dosing interval thereby alerting a person that it is time to take a dose of medicine. Included are attachment means, such as a pressure sensitive adhesive, for attachment to a medicine container. Construction is with materials and structures that confer to the device the flexibility required to physically conform to curved objects such as typically encountered in prescribed medications. Alerts from the device may be visible, audible, vibratory, or any combination thereof. No human readable time is displayed. At least one switch is provided for human interaction with the device.

  • Patent number: RE43178
Abstract: A system providing vehicle, pallet, and personnel tracking within buildings, vehicles such as trucks/trailers, buses, trains and aircraft at a site or in a global network system. RFID transponder Gate readers are used in building doorways, in vehicles such as tracks/trailers gates or bus doors to read pallets, packages and personnel equipped with RFID transponder and tamper proof RFID RF transceiver tags. The RFID-RF transceivers may contain a GPS/GSM modem for locating of pallets or personnel with RF or GPS location system. Site Buildings and vehicles are equipped with compute interface unit, to communicate at time intervals with RFID-RF tag transceiver units installed on pallets or personnel wristwatch, to indicate the presence of pallets or personnel at a site or in a vehicle.
