  • Patent number: 7278413
Abstract: A supplemental fuel supply system for use in an internal combustion engine having a fuel supply and using an on-demand supplemental oxygen supply includes a fuel pump and a supplemental oxygen supply regulator. The pump has a fuel supply and a fuel discharge. The pump includes an inlet for feed from the supplemental oxygen supply. The pump is driven by a portion of the supplemental oxygen supply such that when a demand is made on the on-demand supplemental oxygen supply to supplement oxygen to the internal combustion engine, a portion of the supplemental oxygen is introduced into the fuel pump to drive the fuel pump to discharge fuel therefrom to the internal combustion engine. The discharge from the supplemental oxygen supply regulator supplies both the fuel pump and the internal combustion engine.

  • Patent number: 7210405
Abstract: An ink supply system is used with a printer of the type in which ink is deposited in an engraved receiving region on a cliché plate and is scraped from the plate leaving ink in the receiving region. The ink supply system includes an ink cup having a hollow interior defining an ink reservoir and defining an outer edge. The outer edge has a doctor blade formed thereon for engaging and scraping the plate. The ink cup has an inlet and an outlet. A pump has a suction side and a discharge side with the suction side in flow communication with the cup outlet for drawing ink from the cup. A viscosity controller is in flow communication with the pump discharge and receives ink from the pump. A flow conduit extends between the viscosity controller and the ink cup for providing a flow of ink from the viscosity controller to the ink cup.

  • Patent number: 7210345
Abstract: A forced harmonic vibration master gear for use in a device for detecting imperfections in a production gear includes a gear body having a plurality of gear teeth. Each of the plurality of gear teeth has a graduation of material added thereto extending from a form diameter of each tooth to an end of the tooth to decrease the pressure angle of the tooth. The forced harmonic master gear when used to test an unacceptable production gear, induces in the unacceptable production gear, when rotating, a vibrational force that is at least 50 percent greater than a vibrational force exhibited by the unacceptable production gear when a standard master gear is used to test the unacceptable production gear, in at least one band of 70 Hz to 150 Hz, 151 Hz to 300 Hz, 301 Hz to 550 Hz, 551 Hz to 1250 Hz and 1251 Hz to 2000 Hz.

  • Patent number: 6874297
Abstract: The instant invention comprises an apparatus and method for wrapping a load under tension with a web of stretch wrap flexible material and then binding the wrapping material to the load by compressing the end of the flexible material into a rope-like configuration. The rope formed is wound around the load at least one turn. A second turn of the rope around the load is then bound to the first rope with a mechanical twisting tie around the two ropes to prevent unwrapping of the load during transit and storage. A hot wire cutting mechanism cuts the rope and the bound two ropes snap back into position against the wrapped load from the force of the stretch wrap tension.
