Abstract: A towing member for a piece of towable baggage is provide with towing handle that is pivotal relative to an arm portion of the towing member. The pivotal relation of the towing handle and the arm potion enables the towing handle to be rotated into a position where a person can grasp the towing handle in a comfortable position by his or her side when the piece of baggage is being towed. The pivotal relation of the towing handle and the arm potion also improves the maneuverability of a towable piece of baggage by reducing the need for a person to twist his or her wrist when steering the piece of baggage. The invention also allows the towing handle of retractable towing members to be pivoted into an appropriate position relative to the piece of baggage such that the towing handle lies flush with the baggage and will not become snagged on other items.
Abstract: A piece of baggage is provided with a pack portion having a strap with end portions that can be adjusted to extend horizontally from the sides of the pack portion or, alternatively, upwardly from the pack portion. When the strap ends are oriented extending horizontally from the pack portion, the piece of baggage can be worn as a conventional lumbar pack. When the strap ends are oriented to extend upwardly from the pack portion, the piece of baggage can be supported from a person's shoulder in a comfortable manner similar to a conventional shoulder bag.
Abstract: A frame is designed for holding and attaching an article to the outside of a luggage and is formed of a main body and a fastening strap which is fixed at one end with the main body and is detachably retained at the other end by the main body. The main body is attached to the handle of the luggage.
Abstract: The exercise device of the present invention has a base having at least one frame member extending from the base. A rotatable drive shaft is mounted on the frame and a first one-way clutch and a second one-way clutch are mounted on the drive shaft. A means is provided for operatively connecting the drive shaft to an alternator whereby rotation of the drive shaft causes the alternator to provide resistance to the exercise device and to generate electricity. A pair of arms and a pair of levers are pivotally mounted on the base whereby movement of the arms causes a movement of the levers. A foot pad is positioned on each of the arms. The foot pads are disposed to move in an arcuate path towards and away from the side members of the base. A means is provided for operatively connecting one of the levers to the first one-way clutch and the other lever to the second one-way clutch.
Abstract: A piece of towable baggage that comprises a pack portion, a retractable towing member, and a pair of towing wheels that move between stored and towing positions relative to the pack portion in response to movement of a towing member between retracted and extended positions relative to the pack portion.
