  • Patent number: 5905617
Abstract: In a differential amplifier, when an output node of an output buffer circuit is short-circuited to a high potential supply node, the difference between the potential at an output node of an amplifying circuit and the potential at the output node of the buffer circuit becomes so great as not to be produced in normal operation. A short-circuit protection circuit detects such a state and interrupts or limits a base current supplied to an output transistor of an output pull signal generating circuit, suppressing the flow of excess current into the output node of the buffer circuit.

  • Patent number: 5744911
Abstract: A device for driving a directly heated cathode of a cathode ray tube eliminating a delay due to inductance of a transformer. A transformer that produces the heater-heating signal voltage applied to the cathode includes a secondary coil divided into first and second coils. The voltage induced in the first coil is used for the heater-heating voltage and the signal induced in the second coil is synchronized with the voltage induced in the first coil and used as a bias voltage for turning on and off a switching element in synchronization with the heater-heating voltage. The switching element turns on only when the heater-heating signal voltage is applied to a control terminal of the switching element.

  • Patent number: 5563236
Abstract: A resin composition for coating of the present invention includes a polyester containing an acid component and a polyol component, wherein the polyester is soluble or dispersible in a solvent consisting essentially of at least one solvent selected from the group consisting of cyclohexanone and isophorone; the polyester has a metal sulfonate group in an amount in the range of 0.1 to 5 mol % based on the total moles of the acid component or the polyol component and is slightly soluble in an organic solvent in the case where the content of the metal sulfonate group is 0%; and a specific gravity of the polyester at 30.degree. C. is in the range of 1.265 to 1.340.
