Abstract: A collapsible hunter's blind apparatus, for enclosing a hunter in a truncated triangularly-shaped enclosure, comprising: first and second vertically draping camouflage panels, a first horizontal telescopic frame member for horizontally supporting the first vertically draping camouflage panel, and a second horizontal telescopic frame member for horizontally supporting the second vertically draping camouflage panel. The first and second horizontal telescopic frame members are coupled to the sides of a tree trunk via an adjustable strap member. The collapsible hunter's blind apparatus further comprises an arc-shaped strap member which provides a reciprocating force to counterbalance gravitational forces and the weight of the horizontally supported first and second vertically draping camouflage panels acting on the first and second telescopic horizontal support members, respectively, to maintain each of the first and second telescopic horizontal support members substantially horizontal.
Abstract: An improved retractable cleat device having a housing and a telescopic cleat member absent a handle. The telescopic cleat member is lockable in the housing in a retracted position via a cam channel having at least one interval engaging a cam follower. The cam channel includes at least one interval which unlocks the telescopic cleat and allows the telescopic cleat to move to an upraised position via a bias force of a compression spring.
Abstract: A tossing game comprising a weighted hand-tossed projectile having a weighted safety head, a handle member projecting from a rear end of the weighted safety head and an airfoil stabilizing chute slidable coupled to the handle member and extendable immediately, upon release of said safety hand-tossed projectile, from a forward end of the handle member to a rear end of the handle member. A target adapted to receive the safety hand-tossed projectile. Preferably, the target includes a plurality of pockets in a row and column matric configuration.
Abstract: A binding device for crimping or deforming a U-shaped channel around a plurality of sheets of paper comprises a stationary crimping bar and a rotatable crimping bar rotatable coupled above the stationary crimping bar. The rotatable crimping bar has coupled thereto a first weight member fixedly coupled in the center thereof wherein the first weight serves to provided a centralized force of gravitational pull to urge the rotatable crimping bar toward a crimping position. The stationary crimping bar has coupled thereto a second weight member fixedly coupled in the center thereof wherein the second weight member provides a centralized force of gravitational pull for stability.
Abstract: A measuring device which maximizes the surface area of a blade transducer, which is swingably coupled to a probe member, and utilizes the force of the medium, such as a slurry, flowing in an in-service pipeline to swingably align the blade transducer in a desired measuring position. The swingable coupling of the blade transducer to the probe member provides for the retraction from and insertion into the medium flowing in the in-service pipeline for repairs, replacement, or sanitization or other maintenance or servicing of such blade transducer, without shutting down the pipeline and related processes, without compromising the integrity of or disturbing the connection (sealed, flanged, welded or otherwise) between the measuring device and the transducer port in such pipeline and significantly minimizing the environmental exposure of the medium.
Abstract: A portable, collapsible child safety seat for use within a shopping cart. The portable, collapsible child safety seat comprises a seat support frame member securable to an interior rear wall of the shopping cart wherein the seat support frame comprises a first L-shaped member and a second L-shaped member. The portable, collapsible child safety seat further comprises a collapsible seating member for suspending a child within the shopping cart, having a first longitudinal side coupled to the first L-shaped support frame member and a second longitudinal side coupled to the second L-shaped member and a rotatable horizontal support bar coupled to the seat support frame member wherein the horizontal support bar serves to maintain the seat support frame in a full extended position. Henceforth, existing shopping carts, having coupled thereto the portable, collapsible child safety seat of the present invention, are capable of accommodating two children.
