Abstract: A camp stove leveler having rail members forming a support surface and leg assemblies supporting and interconnecting the rail members in parallel spaced condition. Each leg assembly has at least two legs secured at opposite ends of a cross bar, each leg having an axially adjustable foot depending from its lower free end.
Abstract: A collapsible container that incorporates the features of a rigid free-standing container with the flexibility and collapsibility of a bulk bag. Stiffening members are placed into pockets created by sewing together two pieces of woven polypropylene. The members may be removed and placed inside the bag for shipping and then installed in the sewn pockets to create a collapsible container suitable for containment and shipment of bulk materials of up to 70% liquid composition.
Abstract: A window noise attenuation device that keeps window balance springs from ratting against the inside of the spring covers when the balance spring is caused to vibrate. The apparatus is designed to be slipped over the window balance spring during the construction of the window. The device can be installed either by hand or by machine. The apparatus features a positioning section that keeps the device substantially fixed in position on the balance spring during use. An offset section holds the balance spring fimly in position away from the walls of the spring cover and jamb liners when the balance spring is caused to vibrate by rapidly closing or opening the window or from other jarring such as slamming a door. The low cost device is designed to last as long as the window spring mechanism.
Abstract: Filter apparatus for filtering liquids in pressure vessels. The invention solves the sealing problem associated with filter bags by providing a filterable seal fabricated from the filter material itself fastening to a flexible collar. The filter provides simple insertion or removal, low cost of fabrication yet ensures that substantially all liquid passing through the pressure vessel will be filtered.
Abstract: A dual lumen subclavian cannula is disclosed for use in hemodialysis where the lumens are formed by a septum dividing an essentially circular tube longitudinally. The blood return lumen is closed at its distal end by a blunt point and has openings in its side wall proximal to the point. The blood inlet lumen has an open distal end plus openings in the side wall which are proximal to the analogous openings in the blood return lumen. A manifold at the proximal end of the tube separately distributes blood into the return lumen and collects blood from the inlet lumen.
Abstract: Biomedical radiopaque acrylic resin, in bead form, with an average diameter of from about 10 to 100 microns and having substantially uniformly dispersed throughout the bead about 5 to 50 wt. % of radiopaque inorganic pigment with an average particle size of about 0.1 to 20 microns.
