Abstract: An uncovered storage facility for stockpiling bulk materials for establishing stockpiles (38) of predetermined geometry. The facility comprises a base (40) having facing retaining walls (42, 44) which are provided by structural berms (46, 48). The berms (46, 48) are for supporting a stacker machine (10) on one side of a stockpile (38) and a reclaimer machine (22) on the other side of the stockpile (38). A high berm (46) supports a stacker machine (10) and a low berm supports a reclaimer (22). The berms (46, 48) provide for more efficient access to a stockpile (38) by a stacker (10) and a reclaimer (22) and a predetermined stockpile geometry which allows increased reclaim efficiency compared to a stockpile of traditional geometry.
Abstract: A network analyzer includes a raw data measuring portion for measuring an S parameter of a device under test, a measuring-system error-factor measuring portion for obtaining measuring-system error factors occurring in the measurement of the device under test, a parameter conversion factor calculating portion for obtaining a parameter conversion factor indicative of the relationship between impedance and measuring system error-factor-free data obtained by eliminating measuring-system error factors from the S parameter, an extended error-factor calculating portion for obtaining extended error factors by combining the measurement-system error factors and the parameter conversion factor, and a device-under-test calculating portion for obtaining the impedance from the S parameter and the extended error factors. Accordingly, the need for fixtures is eliminated and, further, the extended error factors are obtained in advance.
Abstract: A novel pressure sensor housing configuration and method of assembly are described. A pressure transducer including a tube for measuring pressure and leads for providing signals indicated of the measured pressure is mounted to a printed circuit board. A housing including elongated mounting portions or legs taller than the pressure sensor transducer and a cavity for receiving the tube is mounted over the pressure transducer to the printed circuit board. The housing is connected to the printed circuit board using the elongated mounting portions. A pneumatic connection to the housing provides a pressure to be measured to the cavity and thence to the pressure transducer tube.

Abstract: A program information storing section stores program information including program name, program start time, and channel discriminating information. A program information search section searches the program information stored in the program information storing section according to designated search conditions and produces personalized program information resulting from the search. A program guide display section displays a program guide including a personal channel consisting of the resultant program information. Thus, the receiving apparatus allows users to display their personal channels.

Abstract: A disposable undergarment has an integrated belly protector and pants. The belly protector has a front body and a rear body joined together to form a tubular configuration having upper and lower openings. A first elastic member is secured along the upper opening. Second and third elastic members are secured to the front body between the first elastic member and the lower opening so as to extend with a transversely symmetric arrangement and to curve convexly toward the upper and lower openings, respectively. The pants have a front body and a rear body joined together to define a waist-opening and a pair of leg-openings. The waist-opening of the pants is seamlessly connected to the lower opening of the belly protector, and a fourth elastic member is secured along the waist opening.
