Abstract: A three-dimensional package structure includes an energy storage element, a semiconductor package body and a shielding layer. The semiconductor package body has a plurality of second conductive elements and at least one control device inside. The energy storage element is disposed on the semiconductor package body. The energy storage element including a magnetic body is electrically connected to the second conductive elements. The semiconductor package body or the energy storage element has a plurality of first conductive elements to be electrically connected to an outside device. The shielding layer is disposed between the control component and at least part of the magnetic body to inhibit or reduce EMI (Electro-Magnetic Interference) from the energy storage element and to get a tiny package structure. The three-dimensional package structure is applicable to a POL (Point of Load) converter.
Abstract: A fire extinguishing system for a floating or fixed roof hydrocarbon or petro chemical storage tank includes an above-ground storage tank having a cylindrically shaped upwardly extending annular wall and a floating or fixed roof on top of the storage tank. The tank also includes a sensor for detecting fire or smoke in the above-ground storage tank and a mass of fire extinguishing materials and a dispenser for dispensing the fire extinguishing materials inwardly across the top of the storage tank upon sensing a fire within the tank. Further, a sub-terrian tank having a capacity greater than the capacity of the above-ground storage tank is disposed below the above-ground storage tank and is connected to the above-ground storage tank so that the hydrocarbon or petro chemical liquid from the bottom of the above-ground storage tank can be almost immediately emptied into the sub-terrain storage tank.
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a system and method for providing a supplementary information associated with a broadcast content. The system provides a supplementary information associated with a specific broadcast program in the broadcast content by means of a supplementary information server, wherein the supplementary information server comprises a broadcasting receiving unit for receiving the broadcast content; a synchronization information unit for storing a synchronization information of the supplementary information associated with the specific broadcast program; a video comparison unit for comparing screens of the broadcast content with a previously stored scene change screen of the specific broadcast program and setting a start time of the specific broadcast program; a supplementary information extracting unit for calculating an elapsed time from the start time of the specific broadcast program to a specific screen and extracting the supplementary information corresponding to the elapsed time.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a composition for plasma electrolytic oxidation (PEO) treatment of magnesium alloy products, which contains a sodium hydroxide (NaOH) solution as a main component, the composition comprising, based on the weight of sodium hydroxide contained in the sodium hydroxide solution: 1-20 wt % of sodium fluoride (NaF); 1-15 wt % of trisodium phosphate (Na3PO4); 1-10 wt % of sodium pyrophosphate (Na4P2O7); 1-20 wt % of aluminum hydroxide (Al(OH)3); 1-20 wt % of sodium fluorosilicate (Na2SiF6); 1-10 wt % of potassium hydroxide (KOH); 1-15 wt % of potassium acetate (C2H3O2K); and 1-10 wt % of rare earth metal powder. The disclosed composition can form a firm, dense and uniform oxide film on the surface of a magnesium alloy product.

Abstract: A circuit comprises a first read bit line, a second read bit line, and a sense amplifier. First and second read bit lines couple a plurality of memory cells and a reference cell of a memory array, respectively. The sense amplifier is configured to receive the first read bit line as a first input and the second read bit line as a second input. When a memory cell of the first plurality of memory cells is read, the memory cell is read activated, the first reference cell is configured to be off, the second reference cell is configured to be on, and the sense amplifier is configured to provide an output reflecting a data logic stored in the memory cell based on a voltage difference between a first voltage of the first read bit line and a second voltage of the second read bit line.

Abstract: A method for manufacturing carbon nanotubes includes the steps of: preparing metal-containing-nanofibers which include nanofibers made of organic polymer and metal which possesses a catalytic function in forming carbon nanotubes; and forming carbon nanotubes which contain metal therein by using the nanofibers as a carbon source, wherein the carbon nanotubes are formed by putting the metal-containing-nanofibers into a heating vessel which has a substance capable of converting electromagnetic energy into heat, and by heating the metal-containing-nanofibers using heat which is generated by the heating vessel when electromagnetic energy is applied to the heating vessel.

Abstract: The invention relates to integrated circuit fabrication, and more particularly to a semiconductor device with a plurality of gate structures.
