Abstract: A disposable pull-on diaper has a disposal securing means. This means includes perforated lines which are formed between transversely opposite side edges of front and rear waist regions and respective first joining zones, along which top- and backsheets are torn together to define slits. The perforated lines extend in a longitudinal direction between the vicinity of a peripheral edge portion of a waist-opening and the vicinity of peripheral edge portions of respective leg-openings.
Abstract: The apparatus comprises a removable magazine for the supply of fasteners, designed to contain a strip of fastener-holding rings, a fastener-guide (3) and a unit (4) for shearing the strip of fastener-holding rings, and which is functionally a single unit. The shearing unit (4) and the fastener supply magazine are adapted to work together to house a skirt (11), integral with the shearing unit (4), forming a passage (12) for fastener input, in a reception compartment of the skirt (11).

Abstract: The present invention is directed to an apparatus for supplying gas at a first pressure and at a second pressure. The apparatus includes a gas generating system having a gas generating system outlet. A flow switch is in communication with the gas generating system outlet and has an outlet thereof forming a gas outlet at the first pressure. A pressure regulator is in communication with the gas generating system outlet for regulating gas flowing to the gas outlet at the first pressure. A solenoid valve is electrically controlled by the flow switch and is in communication with the gas generating system outlet and has a solenoid valve outlet. A pressure intensifier is in communication with the solenoid valve for raising the pressure of the gas generated by the gas generating system for output to an outlet at a second pressure.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a novel process for preparing sol-gel microcapsules loaded with up to 95% (w/w) functional molecules or substances and to the products obtained by said process. Said process is conducted in two steps: (a) creating an oil-in-water emulsion by emulsification of a water insoluble solution comprising the sol-gel precursors and the molecules to be loaded, in an aqueous solution under appropriate shear forces; (b) mixing and stirring said emulsion with an aqueous solution at a suitably selected pH to obtain loaded sol-gel microcapsules in suspension. The microcapsules so obtained can further be subjected to cycles of isolation and rinsing. Incorporation of the final product, either in the form of a suspension or a powder, in cosmetic formulations affords a transparent cream when applying to skin and has a smooth and pleasant contact.
