Abstract: A device for providing water to young birds and fowl. The waterer is attached to a cage for the birds and includes a bottle which can be detached for cleaning or replacement and reattached when full without any spillage. The device also includes a removable piece for the prevention of drowning of certain types of game birds.

Abstract: An adjustable stand developed to facilitate an accurate measurement of vertical distances from a surface, on which at least one leg of the stand rests to a given point above that surface. The surface may be either ground surface or a surveyor's hub on a stake. The stand has two legs one leg of which is both a distance measuring device and a plumb finder by which the verticality of the leg may be ascertained. The second leg is formed of two spaced apart beams to provide stability, the beams having pointed ends for insertion into the surface on which the device stands.

Abstract: A headlock device for holding the head of a domestic animal for any purpose requiring the holding of that animal. The device is built for quick and easy removal and replacement on a pen with which it is to be used. The holding mechanism is adjustable so that the device can be used on animals having different sizes of neck. The adjustment is two-fold. One is an adjustment of the holding position so that it can be used with similar animals each of which has a similar sized neck. The second adjustment is for an individual animal or to hold the headlock in its open position.

Abstract: A device adapted to be attached to a basketball hoop to provide for a directed return of the basketball after a successful shot. The device includes a frame supporting a directed slide adapted to direct the ball back toward the shooter. Hooks, at least one of which is springably movable away from the hoop, are used to hold the device on the hoop.
