Abstract: Improved ionizing structure for ambient air treatment wherein the structure incorporates an ionizing needle directed in the direction of airflow; the needle is negatively charged to produce an electrostatic field, preferably pulsating, whereby to ionize air constituent molecules, lint, and other entrained constituents, allowing the latter simply to precipitate out of the air and fall to the ground or floor beneath; in such manner ambient air within a room enclosure, for example, is cleaned for maximizing occupant enjoyment as well as for health and other reasons.
Abstract: Mine strata support structure and components in a mine truss and including a mine bracket and a connector, the latter preferably being in the form of an elongated stirrup; the mine bracket, stirrup and associated structure are constructed and dimensioned such that the stirrup may be brought into retentive engagement with the bracket and not slip inadvertently out of engagement; this can be produced through the employment of a depending projection which vertically depends from the bearing plate of the bracket, such projection serving with the body of the bracket to supply an access path for stirrup installation, the projection deterring excess rearward travel of the stirrup whereby to maintain bracket-stirrup inter-engagement, and thus truss-integrity, even during conditions of mine strata shock.

Abstract: Ionization systems in and for laundry dryers and other contexts, whereby to neutralize static electricity build-up and acidic conditions, and thereby create environmentally friendly systems for drying clothes and other fabrics, generally prolonging fabric life, reducing particle and lint entrainment, and also reducing if not eliminating acidic conditions in dryers and other environs.
Abstract: A support sling, useful in the mining industry, for example, for supporting overhead loads such as mine roofs; the sling includes a pair of generally coplanar anchor lengths, sometimes called anchor bolts, having inwardly directed ends mutually facing each other and which, thus, are essentially coaxial; a similarly coaxial take-up coupling structure secures the ends and is constructed, either in active or passive mode, to restrain loads, acting under the force of gravity, from dilating downwardly to extreme conditions, and this in a manner as not to allow for the generation of serious force couples in the sling.
Abstract: Mine roof support systems, components and method, for supporting, whether in active or passive mode, mine roof strata; first and second, mutually spaced series of brackets are supplied for mounting to opposite sides of a mine roof span, and one or more cable assemblies are looped about such brackets and secured to the mine roof strata, such cable assemblies also being provided with take-up means: the invention is suitable and effective for supporting mine roof strata at various, desire mine locations.

Abstract: A trailer hitch for securement to the medial step portion of the rear bumper of a towing vehicle such as a pickup truck; the trailer hitch includes a mount member which is mounted and also keyed against rotation to the step of the bumper; structure is provided for coupling a ball hitch to the mount in a manner that the same is adjustable for ball height as well as effecting detachment of the ball and its associated structure from the support mount affixed to the bumper.
Abstract: A table construction suitable for fabrication in elemental forms preparatory to break-down shipment and on-site assembly, when desired, and including suspended seating construction; the support structure of the table top incorporating the suspended seating takes the form of a hub and spoke construction of telescoping nature, the hub generally comprising a cross and the spokes telescoping therewith being provided with elements for attaching the support structure to the underside of the table top preparatory for table erection.
Abstract: A high volume beverage delivery structure or apparatus, preferably encased in a single self-contained unit, wherein the same includes a high-volume water line provided with a multiple-inlet junction or junction unit. Feeding such junction or junction unit are a series of suitably driven liquid supply pumps, connected together either unitarily or in tandem, for providing respective juices, syrups, concentrates, and/or other liquids or fluids to the pumps for supply thereof to the multiple-inlet junction unit interposed in the high volume water line. Suitable valving is provided for control of the respective pumping branches, and the system is designed in an over-all manner such as to accommodate any one of several concentrates, etc., which are to be additives to the water supply system.
Abstract: A lint trap unit for fabric dryers, constructed for passive, slow-flow quiescent-zone precipitation of a majority of lint and other foreign particulates entrained in the exhaust of the dryer, and also providing for secondary filter recovery of possibly unprecipitrated residues at an upper filter that is provided.
Abstract: A lighted flexible display device or sign, useful for advertising purposes, and having a battery supply mount. The display device herein is a lighted display and is constructed to be flexible in the presence of inadvertent bumping or deflection thereof. The mounting is resilient such that, when the deflecting force is removed, the sign springs back to its normal lateral position. The mount for the display device includes a battery supply, with such supply being electrically connected to the electrical circuit of the sign proper. This is accomplished by means of electrical leads passing through a deflection restoration spring, by such leads passing through a resilient tongue, or with connectors used in a spring-biased pivotal construction for connecting the battery supply to the electrical lighting circuit of the sign.
Abstract: A mine support post having a yieldable mine post construction, made of metal and in telescoping form. The post of the invention comprises a pair of mutually telescoping metal post lengths. The innermost tubular post length has a medial bubble portion of enlarged girth which is oversize relative to the nominal inside diameter of the outermost tubular post length. The result, consequently, is not only to increase the frictional resistance between the post lengths but also to create a bubble zone characterized by elastic/plastic mutually inter-cooperating radial deformation and elastic stress-loading of the telescoping post construction, for further progressively increasing resistance of the composite post structure to compression end loading of such post. The yieldable mine post construction can be made adjustable and also radially preloaded and preset for immediate, desired load resistance.
