    Abstract: A trailer hitch guide intended for use in assisting the driver of an automotive vehicle to align, for hitching purposes, a trailer hitch ball, of the type conventionally carried by an automobile or other automotive hauling vehicle, with a trailer hitch socket, of the type conventionally carried on the tongue of a trailer, the guide being comprised of a pair of identical, highly visible and electrically lightable guide members, one of the guide members being adapted to be temporarily attached to the trailer tongue while the other guide member is adapted to be temporarily attached to the rear of the hauling vehicle whereby both guide members are highly visible through the rear window of the vehicle, during dim lighting conditions and at night as well as during daylight hours, to a vehicle driver seated in the driver's seat during the aligning operation.

    Abstract: Coupling means for test tubes and the like, the coupling means enabling the coupling of test tubes to other objects or devices for various purposes, as for example, support purposes. In one embodiment of the invention, the coupling means is comprised of a flexible, resilient, tubular body portion which is open at each end and which is adapted to be slidably circumposed on a portion of the periphery of a conventional tubular test tube of the type that is closed at one end, the coupling means also including a pair of circumferentially spaced, flexible, resilient and integral flange portions which project longitudinally outwardly from one end of the tubular body portion and which define openings adjacent the free ends thereof adapted to receive a cooperating member such as the stem of a conventional funnel, a support rod, a thermometer or other object to which it is desired to couple a test tube. In another embodiment of the invention, the coupling means is formed integrally with the body portion of a test tube.

    Abstract: An electrical primary control system for furnaces and method of making the same, the system comprising burner control means, an isolated low voltage control circuit and means for interfacing between the isolated low voltage control circuit and the burner control means; the interfacing means including a pair of resilient, magnetic reeds disposed within a hermetically sealed envelope, and a pair of electrically insulated independently wound coils having a differential in ampere turns and encompassing the envelope, the magnetic flux generated by such coils being additive whereby energization of both of the coils is required to close the contacts but energization of one of the coils is sufficient to maintain the contacts closed, at least one of the coils having a resistance wire of predetermined calibrated resistance electrically connected in parallel circuit therewith.
