  • Patent number: 4023386
Abstract: A cover lock assembly for maintaining a hatch cover securely mounted to a rigid frame including a guard member which passes over at least a portion of the cover and is insertable in a securement device which is mounted to the rigid frame external to but near one end of the hatch cover. A lock housing is releasably attached to an upper surface of the guard member and is movable to a first position covering the securement device. A bar lock mechanism insertable through the lock housing is partially removable in order to permit movement of the lock housing to a second position exposing the securement device which may then be released.

  • Patent number: 4022037
Abstract: A shield lock assembly for shielding securing members engaging a rigid frame. The lock assembly includes a shield member which is secured to a rigid frame through a fastener. The shield member further passes over and covers at least one of the securing members. A lock housing is movably mounted to the shield member and is displaceable to a first locking position which covers the fastener to prevent disengagement of the fastener from the rigid frame. The lock housing is movable to a second unlocking position which exposes the fastener and allows disengagement of the fastener from the rigid frame to permit removal of the shield member thus exposing the covered securing members.

  • Patent number: 4016543
Abstract: An address recall system coupled to a processor to permit operator examination of a predetermined number of executed system addresses. A processor system address is manually inserted to the recall system. When a system address being executed compares with the operator address setting, an address equality signal is generated. The recall system logic generates either a stop or interrupt state for the processor responsive to actuation of another manually operated input switch. Addresses being executed by the processor are stored in a push down memory stack within the recall system. When an address equality signal is generated, one or more of the consecutively executed addresses contained in the memory stack may be manually displayed in the reverse order of execution.

  • Patent number: 3998333
Abstract: A carrier for processing semiconductor materials consisting of a first removable mounting boat with supporting branches having grooves for receiving first type semiconductor substrates thereon, and a second mounting boat with a pair of elongated supporting members having grooves for receiving second type semiconductor substrates thereon. The mounting of the first type semiconductor substrates to the first boat can be independently performed and after this mounting, the first boat is then coupled with the second tupe semiconductor substrates. When the first and second boats are coupled, the two types of semiconductor substrates are aligned on the second mounting boat alternately between adjacent substrsates in a juxtaposed configuration. Thereby, handling of the two type of conductors are remarkably facilitated.

  • Patent number: 3987611
Abstract: Percent take-up feed of a yarn, which is taken up onto a pirn by rotary surface contact with a take-up roller via delivery rollers, is time-functionally and continuously changed by a speed converter which is inserted into a rotation transmission mechanism between both rollers and whose speed conversion ratio is adjusted by a pilot shaft in accordance with a programme which is designed on the basis of the take-up feed characteristic curve in order to obtain a yarn of uniform stretch property, the characteristic curve being in practice approximated by a combination of three or fewer straight lines.

  • Patent number: 3984706
Abstract: An electromagnetic actuator for linear driving of movable heads of a magnetic disc unit in an information processing system. A plurality of slits or plates are provided with a magnetic pole inscribed directly on the internal surface of a permanent magnet, and increase magnetic reluctance of the magnetic path and reduce inductance of a moving coil, thus providing shorter positioning time and stable control. In order to obtain the constant strength of magnetic flux and/or torque of a moving coil, said slits or plates have a particular structure.

  • Patent number: 3980897
Abstract: A first subset of semiconductor devices has an associated first additional device and a first gate output. A second subset of semiconductor devices has an associated second additional device and a second gate output. The first and second subsets are of one conductivity type while the first and second additional devices are of another conductivity type. First logic signals are applied to the first subset for turning on the first subset and the first additional device for producing at the first gate output a first function of the first logic signals. Second logic signals are applied to the second subset for turning on the second subset and the second additional device for producing at the second gate output a second function of the second logic signals.

  • Patent number: 3964830
Abstract: A method for inspecting flaws existing on the surface or existing in the inside of material through employment of a coherent and spherical wave of light is disclosed, in which method a flat wave of light, such as He-Ne Laser light, is converted by a lens system into a coherent and spherical wave of the light, and subsequently the spherical wave of the light is brought into impingement upon the material to be inspected and, further, a Fresnel diffraction pattern of the material is produced on an inspection screen through a projection method whereby two-dimensional images, which approximate the shape of the flaws of the material, are observed.

  • Patent number: 3944875
Abstract: Discharge spots on a display device can be shifted by using the primary current effect. For the purpose of shifting the discharge spots, electrodes with a right angle to a shift direction are connected periodically to a plurality of buss to which a series of sustaining signals are supplied in a predetermined time differences. This function of shifting the discharge spots can simplify the peripheral circuit of the display device and also increase a domain of the application of this kind of display device, such as a plasma display panel.

  • Patent number: 3940957
Abstract: A bar lock assembly secured to opposing door members for constraining the door members each to the other. The bar lock assemblies include a pair of strike plates utilizing the tooth in groove mating concept which have lug members interfacing with each other. A locking mechanism is inserted through bores formed in each of the lug members to secure the strike plates to each other. In one bar lock assembly modification each strike plate includes a tooth member insertable into one of a set of rectangular channels formed in a portion of the periphery of an opposing strike plate lug member. The channels are formed within three surfaces of each lug member to permit the strike plates to be mated in a substantially co-planar manner or perpendicular to each other.
