Abstract: A non-transitory computer readable medium for a real time analysis of a computer system performs a method of describing an occurrence pattern, for which a set of tasks is provided. The tasks are partially repeatedly requested by the system and processed or repeatedly generate events by requests to partial components of the system. An occurrence pattern of the events requesting the tasks or events generated by the task during the real-time analysis is represented by a description of event densities. The description includes a set of elements describing a portion of the occurrence pattern of the events. At least two elements for the description of the part of the occurrence pattern include a further set of elements providing a plurality of hierarchical levels. The further sets and thus the part of the occurrence pattern described by the further sets differ from each other.

Abstract: A highlight suppression image pickup apparatus includes a camera part provided with a lens optical system, an active filter part which is disposed in the vicinity of a focal plane of the camera part and which can control the amount of transmitted light, a light sensing device which senses a light transmission amount of the active filter part, and highlight suppression signal producing parts which produce a highlight suppression signal which controls the light transmission amount of the active filter part such that the amount of light sensed by the light sensing device becomes a predetermined reference value. The highlight suppression signal which controls the light transmission amount of the active filter part is output an image signal.

Abstract: A seat belt retractor for a seat belt includes a spool for winding the seatbelt, a first seat belt load limiting mechanism for limiting load applied on the seat belt in an emergency, a second seat belt load limiting mechanism for limiting the load applied to the seat belt when a predetermined condition based on an emergency situation is satisfied in the emergency, a driving member for actuating the second seat belt load limiting mechanism, and a controller for controlling the driving member. When the predetermined condition is satisfied, the controller sets the second seat belt load limiting mechanism in an operative state by not actuating the driving member. When the predetermined condition is not satisfied, the controller sets the second seat belt load limiting mechanism in an inoperative state by actuating the driving member.
Abstract: Titanium dioxide particles is doped with a rare earth element. The doping ratio of the rare earth element is within a range more than 0 at % and not more than 5.0 at %, and the rare earth element is substituted for titanium atoms in the unit lattice of titanium dioxide so that the titanium dioxide particles emit light attributable to the rare earth element when the titanium dioxide particles are irradiated with light having the absorption wavelength of titanium dioxide and showing a peak at 360 nm.

Abstract: A wastewater treatment ship is provided which is capable of purifying and treating oil bearing wastewater collected from a ship or the sea, wastewater such as domestic water and of reusing the purified water on the ship and easily discharging it. The wastewater treatment ship has a hull able to navigate by being towed or being self-propelled and a purification treatment unit disposed on the hull and configured to collect, purify, and treat wastewater. The purification treatment unit includes a floated oil collecting tank to collect floated oil collected from raw wastewater tank, a stirring tank having a cylindrical straight drum and a funnel-shaped bottom to stir wastewater taken out from the raw wastewater tank together with a coagulant and a collecting path to discharge precipitates, a plurality of filter treatment tanks to be used in multistage filtering treatment of wastewater in the stirring tank, and purified water tanks.
Abstract: To provide a post-processing apparatus for enabling a bunch of sheets and a single sheet to be folded in simplified structure, and further enabling the folded sheet and sheets that are not folded to be mixed and bound, the post-processing apparatus has a processing tray to collate and collect sheets to perform binding processing, and a folding processing path having a folding processing section, and a folded sheet carrying-out path for carrying out a folded sheet is provided on the downstream side of the folding processing path. Abstract: A sheet hole-punching device includes a plurality of punch members, a base frame for slidably supporting the punch members in a hole-punching direction and rotationally supporting the punch members, and a drive member having a plurality of cam portions. Each punch member has a leading end with a hole-punching blade. Each cam portion engages each punch member to move the punch member in the hole-punching direction. A plurality of cam devices is also formed in the sheet hole-punching device. Each cam device is disposed between the base frame and each punch member for converting a hole-punching direction movement of the punch member into a rotational movement so as to rotate the punch member while moving in the hole-punching direction.

Abstract: In a method for preparing a hydrogen absorbing electrode, a hydrogen absorbing alloy which contains a rare earth element as an alloy constituent and a transition metal element is immersed in an aqueous alkaline solution so that the saturation mass susceptibility is 1.0 to 6.5 emu/g of the hydrogen absorbing alloy. The hydrogen absorbing alloy is mixed through the immersing step with an oxide or hydroxide of a rare earth element wherein the oxide or hydroxide has as a main component at least one element selected from the group consisting of Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb, and Lu. Then, a mixture of the hydrogen absorbing alloy and the oxide or hydroxide of the rare earth element is applied to form a desired shape.
Abstract: A driving system for an electrical power conversion equipment includes a driving circuit for driving a switching device provided in the electrical power conversion equipment, and a driving capacity control circuit for controlling a driving capacity of the driving circuit.
