Abstract: The present invention is directed to golf balls having at least one layer which comprises a polymer produced by a process wherein one or more monomers are contacted with a composition comprising the admixture or reaction product resulting from combining (A) a first olefin polymerization catalyst, (B) a second olefin polymerization catalyst capable of preparing polymers differing in chemical or physical properties from the polymer prepared by the first olefin polymerization catalyst under equivalent polymerization conditions, and (C) a chain shuttling agent. Golf balls of the present invention include one-piece, two-piece, and multi-layer golf balls. In two-piece and multi-layer golf balls of the present invention, the polymer may be present in a core layer, a cover layer, an intermediate layer (in the case of multi-layer balls), or a combination thereof.

Abstract: Polymer blend compositions of a first polymer component comprising an ethylene propylene copolymer and a second polymer component comprising an isotactic polypropylene copolymer. The first polymer component has a uniform distribution of both tacticity and comonomer between copolymer chains. Further, the first polymer component will exhibit a statistically insignificant intramolecular difference of tacticity.

Abstract: Branched ethylene-propylene compositions which have improved melt strength and shear thinning are provided. The weight average branching index g′ for the higher molecular weight region of the ethylene-propylene composition is less than 0.95. Additionally, a novel process is provided for efficiently producing a branched ethylene-propylene composition comprising:
a) contacting propylene monomers and ethylene monomers in a reactor with an inert hydrocarbon solvent or diluent and a catalyst composition comprising one or more single site catalyst compounds capable of producing an ethylene-propylene polymer at a temperature from about 50° C. to about 180° C., wherein the ratio in the reactor of the propylene and ethylene monomers to the inert hydrocarbon solvent or diluent is less than 2.

Abstract: This invention relates to novel resins, blends of the novel resins with base polymers and a process for producing a resin comprising combining a reactor feed blend comprising:
(a) at least 2 weight % of isoprene,
(b) at least 2 weight % of one or more of dicyclopentadiene, substituted cyclopentadienes and substituted dicyclopentadienes,
(c) at least 2 weight % piperylene,
(d) at least 1 weight % aromatic olefins, and
(e) 0 to 92 weight % of additional aliphatic olefins, based upon the weight of the reactor feed blend, with a polymerization catalyst under polymerization conditions, preferably where the ratio of component (c) to component (b) is less than 8 and the ratio of component (a) to component (b) is less than 5.
