Abstract: An actuator mechanism of simple and inexpensive design is incorporated in a camera structure to control a motor advance film winding system. The actuator includes a metering mechanism interface, a motor activation switch interface, and a shutter mechanism interface. In operation, a metering mechanism of a camera contacts with the metering mechanism interface in an exposure ready state to hold the actuator in an initial position in which the motor activation switch interface interfaces with a moveable contact of a motor switch to prevent contact between the moveable contact and a stationary contact of the motor switch. When a shutter mechanism of the camera is depressed, the shutter mechanism interfaces with the shutter mechanism interface to hold the actuator in the initial position and also moves the metering mechanism out of contact with the metering mechanism interface.
Abstract: An optical head and printing system for printing an image on a light sensitive print medium includes polarized beam splitting means, and a first and a second group of lasers. The polarized beam splitting means passes light beams with a first polarization propagating from a first surface to a second opposing surface thereof, and reflects light beams with a second orthogonal polarization propagating from a third surface to the second surface thereof. The first group of lasers are disposed in a first plane adjacent the first surface of the polarized beam splitting means for transmitting a first group of diverging laser light beams which are polarized with the first polarization. The second group of lasers are disposed in a second plane adjacent the third surface of the polarized beam splitting means for transmitting a second group of diverging laser light beams which are polarized with the second polarization.
Abstract: A camera system includes a main camera body having a main camera processor coupled to a main body operator interface, a recording head drive circuit and wireless communication receiver, wherein the recording head drive circuit is coupled to a recording head. A remote control unit is also provided that includes a processor unit coupled to an audio record/playback circuit, a remote operator interface and a wireless communication transmitter, wherein the audio record circuit is coupled to a microphone. In operation, the processor unit of the remote control unit controls the record/playback circuit to record an audio segment of a selected duration based on control signals received from the operator interface.

The camera system includes a user interface coupled to a camera control processor, a recording circuit coupled to the camera control processor and a microphone, an optical encoding circuit having an input coupled to the output of the recording circuit and an output coupled to an optical write head, a shutter mechanism, and a transport mechanism for advancing film past the shutter mechanism and the optical write head.
Abstract: A method and apparatus for providing automatic verification of the kernel circuitry of a microprocessor-based system in which the microprocessor (.mu.P) include an instruction prefetch feature. During testing by memory emulation, the memory addresses accessed by the .mu.P are evaluated as to type of access, address and data size in accordance with a test program and a corresponding checking table to determine if such accesses are consistent with a funtional .mu.P of the same type. Other data structures such as flags and pointers are provided to enhance the verification operation and use of the checking table.
Abstract: An interior automobile light is disclosed that incorporates a rechargeable energy source and a detachable mounting in order to permit the light to be used as a flashlight. The light is also connected to the electrical system of the automobile in such a manner as to be activated when a compartment door is opened.
