Abstract: A tool for cleaning oil, gas, and water well wall casing is disclosed. The cleaning tool includes a cylindrical member and a helical swath of scratching elements affixed to the side walls of the cylindrical member positioned for scouring the interior wall of the casing. Also included in the side walls of the cylindrical member is a helical channel adjacent to the swath of scratching elements. Typically, a workstring maneuvers the tool through the casing under mechanical force. Fluid is circulated through the channel of the tool to carry to the surface the loosened debris scoured from the interior wall of the casing. A method of cleaning a well casing is also disclosed. The method includes the use of a tool with scratching elements and flow channels, which tool can be used either with or without cleaning solvents.
Abstract: A process to produce viable bovine embryos through nuclear transplantation. The process utilizes nuclear material from 4 cell and later stage developed embryos recovered from inseminated donor cows through nonsurgical or surgical means. Recipient eggs or oocytes are recovered and a portion of the ooplasm removed by micromanipulation. Individually separated cells from the nuclear material donor embryo are inserted into the recipient oocyte. The oocyte fragment and nuclear donor material are electrofused. The embryo is cultured in vitro, transferred for an interim time to a sheep oviduct and then transferred to a cow for gestation.
Abstract: A composition for use in disinfecting a surface for personal use, such as a public restroom facility or telephone. The composition and delivery of the composition provides for the placement of a thin layer of disinfectant which includes a dye. The dye disappears as the thin layer effects the germicidal activity of the disinfectant. The composition is also rapidly drying, so that the dye disappears as well as the disinfecting composition leaving the surface dry.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a water absorbent packet and the method of using the packet in liquids to be kept free of invasive water. The packets are made of sheets of material which allow the water in the liquid to penetrate into the packet and contact the water absorbent material. Any water present in the liquid which contacts the absorbent material is absorbed from the liquid. The packets can be manufactured to the size desired for use in the system to be kept water free and the desired number of compartments of absorbent material. The amount of absorbent material in the compartments can be measured so that upon water absorption the compartment becomes swollen, giving a visual check for the presence of water. The absorbent compound of this invention can be sodium poly-2-propenoate, carboxymethyl cellulose or other form of the super absorbent composition or polymers which will not migrate through the sheets of material when placed in the liquid and when water is absorbed from the liquid.

Abstract: A coated metallic dental crown and orthodontic appliances which are coated with a thin layer tooth-colored polymer which resembles the normal tooth. The appearance of temporary dental crowns and orthodontic appliances is metallic and the coated crowns and appliance blend with the teeth to give a more pleasing appearance in the mouth.
Abstract: A method for preparing aromatic polyols useful for the production of polyurethane and polyisocyanurate polymers involves digesting scrap polyalkylene terephthalate polymers with a digesting agent, typically a low molecular weight polyol. The digestion product is then treated with an alkylene oxide to produce a low viscosity polyol which displays excellent stability over long term storage.

Abstract: A reinforced metallic and polymer tape which has a light reflecting metallic layer and can have a color coating. The reinforcing material is usually a nonwoven clear resin through which the color is clearly visible. The combination of the metallic layer and reinforcing layer produces a high tensile strength, tear resistant tape. The combination also produces a tape that does not have the tendency to curl.
