  • Patent number: 7500673
Abstract: A combination of a chess game and a card game provides a more challenging game not achievable by playing only the chess game or only the card game. The cards in the card game are laid on the chessboard face down and both games are played simultaneously with some changes made to make the two games adoptable to each other without departing too much from the known rules of the game. Two players take alternate turn on the chess game. A capture of a chess piece or a landing of a chess piece at a designated square and territory on the chessboard triggers an action on the card game. The game ends with a checkmate, a draw, or when a certain points are garnished by a player on the card game.

  • Patent number: 7475690
Abstract: An eyelash curler made of a polymeric material such as plastic or of a non-temperature conducting, light but sturdy and durable material comprising a head section and a body section. The head section includes a curling component having a back side and a front side where an eyelash to be curled is introduced. The curling component has a metal blade at its forming member to form better curls than a plastic blade. The lower end of the body section serves as the handle for the device. A push button controls the curling component and is situated at a position opposite the front side of the curling component thereby preventing the push button from contacting the face of a user.

  • Patent number: 7467422
Abstract: A one-piece hooded scarf, comprising a tubular neckpiece having a top end and a bottom peripheral end, the neckpiece having openings or channels for breathing produced when made from a material elastically deformable in two axes; and, a hood connected at the bottom peripheral end of the neckpiece to leave the top end of the neckpiece free thereby allowing introduction of the neckpiece over the head of a wearer. The hood can be permanently connected to the neckpiece or detachable. The material of the hood can be the same or different from the neckpiece. The hooded scarf can have a tail or a chestpiece which can incorporate an open or secret pocket. The neckpiece can be of variable height to enable it to cover or uncover a lower face area, ear and nose of a wearer.

  • Patent number: 7451985
Abstract: A spherical puzzle comprising a first semi-spherical shell engaged with a second semi-spherical shell. Each shell has four triangular panels held by a plate with the four triangular panels on each plate forming an intersecting track running perpendicularly along an x and y axis. The track on the x axis of the second semi-spherical shell forms a continuous track with the track on the x axis of the first semi-spherical shell and the track on the y axis of the second semi-spherical shell forms a continuous track with the track on the y axis of the first semi-spherical shell. A plurality of sliding tiles forming a predetermined pattern or design are placed on the intersecting tracks. One semi-spherical shell can rotate relative to the other semi-spherical shell about an equatorial axis.

  • Patent number: 7408923
Abstract: A system for simultaneously transporting internet protocol voice traffic and power to an internet protocol telephony transport using the existing twisted pair infrastructure of a traditional phone system. The system includes a twisted pair broadband switch. The twisted pair broadband switch connects on one end to an internet protocol telephone voice switch using Ethernet wiring and connects on another end to a media converter using a twisted pair wiring on the existing twisted pair infrastructure. The media converter condition the voice traffic between a twisted pair interface and an Ethernet interface to allow connection to an internet protocol telephone. Power is simultaneously transported with the voice traffic over the same twisted pair wiring of the existing twisted pair infrastructure.

  • Patent number: 7322366
Abstract: A heated eyelash curler comprise a curling head portion having an arcuate top surface on one end and a protection case on the other end. The protection case serves as a handle and also encloses the power source. A heating element is laid on the arcuate top surface caged inside a plurality of bridges or protected between protruding comblike spikes. The curler includes a pigmented silicone piece which changes in color corresponding to the temperature of the heating element as indicator. The heating element comprises a conducting coil or wire in zigzag configuration inserted into a conducting tube. The circuitry includes a converter for boosting the voltage of the power source which hastens the rise in temperature of the heating element and this in combination with the heating element having the conducting coil or wire in zigzag configuration, provide a more stable and even heating.

  • Patent number: 7185374
Abstract: A discharge valve for toilet tanks comprising a flexible ringed hose held by a couple covering a center hole of the toilet tank and a handle connecting to a wire wrapping around an upper part of the flexible ringed hose. The wire connected to the handle bends and submerge the flexible ringed hose into the liquid inside the toilet tank when the handle pulls the wire upwards thereby allowing liquid to enter the flexible ringed hose to flush the toilet bowl. The liquid stops flowing to the toilet bowl when the flexible ringed hose goes back to its original vertical position when the pull on the wire is released and when the level of the liquid inside the tank is below the top opening of the flexible ringed hose.
