Abstract: An X-Y device and a pair of trigger switches provide user control of a disc reproducing apparatus that reproduces discs which include audio data, video data, or both audio and video data. The reproduced video data is presented on a display. The reproducing device determines whether audio data, video data, or both audio and video data are stored on the disc, and interprets commands generated by the X-Y device and the pair of trigger switches as commands to reproduce the audio data, the video data, or both the audio and video data, respectively, when the display is powered on. When the display is powered off, the reproducing apparatus interprets commands generated by the X-Y device and the pair of trigger switches as commands to reproduce only the audio data.

Abstract: An image drawing apparatus wherein the scanning speed is reduced without decreasing the image drawing speed for forming an image to achieve reduction of the noise and assure a long life. The image drawing apparatus for drawing an image in accordance with image data comprises a laser light source for generating a plurality of laser beams, a galvano mirror for deflecting the plurality of beams of light generated from the laser light source, and a rotary drum on which a predetermined image is to be drawn by the plurality of beams of light deflected by the galvano mirror.
Abstract: Address bits AU1 to AU4 designating rows of a memory 1 at random are successively given thereto. Respective Q lines of each row of the memory 1 are connected in series to register groups SR-R1 to SR-R4. An address bit of a row designated with AU1 to AU4 is stored in each register group. Respective data of the register groups SR-R1 to SR-R4 is supplied to output ports SO1 to SO4 in series by selectors SL1 to SL4. Instead of the register groups SR-R1 to SR-R4 and the selectors SL1 to SL14, shift registers can be used.
