Abstract: An article assembly an alignment machine includes a table comprising a base frame and a work surface mounted thereon. A jig system includes X-axis and Y-axis jig subsystems each including clamps slidable on the work surface. The jig subsystems are actuated by pneumatic piston-and-cylinder units. An article forming system includes a gang drill mounted on the base frame below the work surface and adapted for raising and lowering between engage and disengage positions.

Abstract: A tool for stripping insulation from the conductor core of a wire or cable includes a pair of longitudinal members which are pivotally interconnected. The tool also includes a pair of blade assemblies, which are removably mounted on the longitudinal members. The blade assemblies can include grooves which cooperate to form openings for passing the conductors while stripping the insulation layers therefrom. The blades can comprise resilient materials, such as polymers, to reduce the risk of cutting the conductor.

Abstract: An implement holder includes a head assembly with first and second arms for releasably, securely retaining the head of an implement. The head assembly is mounted on an upper end of a tube assembly, which is length-adjustable and adapted for mounting on a receptacle by a clip subassembly. The head assembly includes a strap subassembly for releasably securing the implement head.

Abstract: A submersible light includes a back cover which mounts the light. A lens assembly is mounted on the back cover and forms a downwardly-open enclosure therewith. A light assembly, which includes an illumination subassembly, is received in the enclosure. The light assembly includes a housing which engages a sealing gasket within the enclosure for sealing the light assembly against water infiltration. A second barrier against water infiltration is provided by the bell jar effect of the back cover of the lens assembly, which collectively form a downwardly-open enclosure for receiving the light assembly.

Abstract: A self contained trailmower includes a respective angled bumper housing positioned on each front corner of the mower deck in a position such that the angled housing on the outside of the mower deck is the first part of the deck to hit an obstacle in the path of the mower. Each of the bumper housings holds a plurality of bumper rollers with the rollers being placed in a line along the outer edge of each bumper housing and protruding outward past the bumper housing such that the rollers are the first portion of the mower to encounter the obstacle. The rollers thus urge the mower deck outward away from the obstacle and serve to cushion the impact between mower deck and obstacle. The mower also incorporates a convenient height adjustment feature.

Abstract: A light fixture with a detection system includes a sensor subsystem with vehicle and personnel sensors. The detection system also includes an indicator/display subsystem with empty space, moving vehicle and personnel present indicators. The detection system further includes a control subsystem mounted in the light fixture and connected to the sensor and indicator subsystems for actuating the indicators in response to the signal inputs from the sensors. Applications of the detection system in parking structures and industrial facilities are disclosed.

Abstract: A fuel tube assembly for gas-fired appliances includes a tube with first and second end sections and a corrugated medial section extending therebetween. The end sections are connected to components, such as a gas valve and a burner, by compression fitting subassemblies.
