Abstract: A method for fabricating a vent cover (10) with an insulating sheet (11) bonded on an inside face of an outer sheet (12). A sheet (11E) which serves as a gasket is provided on the inside face (12A) of the outer sheet. A kit (14) is provided with a preform (10A) for the cover. The preform is cut around the insulating sheet and not the outer sheet to provide the cover. The cover provides good insulation and is relatively resistant to damage from handling.
