Abstract: A stackable, vertical axis windmill comprised of a braced external frame that enables stacking of multiple windmill assemblies. Couplings are located on both ends of the vertical rotor shaft to enable stacking and the transmission of power, an internal wind flow cavity, and controlled wind guides is described. The external frame includes structural bracing that allows for two or more windmill to be stacked one upon another to optimize the use of land or rooftop space for the generation of electricity from wind power. The computer controlled wind guides automatically close partially in high wind conditions in order to prevent damage to the windmill. The internal wind flow cavity allows wind to transfer power to both the windward and leeward rotors blades. The rotor axis is constructed so that all bearings can be replaced without dismantling the structure.

Abstract: The instant invention provides a method and apparatus for basketball referees, game management staff and other officials to notify the audience of a basketball game of the successful completion of a three-point shot. The preferred apparatus generates a tone that may be reproduced on the stadium or arena public address system or on the stadium or arena scoreboard or large screen video device. The tone generated by the apparatus is a unique sound that is readily recognized by the audience. The method involves a official, either an on-floor basketball official or an official observing the game from the side of the floor, activating a sound producing electronic card and the sound is then reproduced over the arena or stadium public address system. The major purpose of the method and device is to increase the enjoyment of observing basketball games by providing an audible alert to the successful completion of a three-point shot.

Abstract: The instant invention is a western style stirrup with a plurality of internal springs to lessen the normal vibration, impact and shock normally encountered when riding a horse. Four springs are mounted internally to the stirrup. The spring apparatus is connected to a riser by means of a hook end on the springs. The riser is connected through a connection means, weld, threaded or non-threaded connection means, to a riser bar. The riser bar is the portion of the instant invention that is connected to the saddle through the common leatherwork used in saddles. The function of the riser bar is to transfer force from the stirrup to the saddle. The four internal springs in the stirrup transfer the force from the foot of the rider via the stirrup body to the riser bar.

Abstract: A holder for golf balls is disclosed that is clipped to the belt or pants of a golfer. The container has a flared opening at the top and has a constricted opening at the bottom. Golf balls are placed in the top opening. The golf ball holder allows for a ball to be removed from the top opening by inserting a finger through the front opening and pushing the top golf ball out of the top flared opening. Pushing the golf ball from the bottom opening may retrieve the remaining golf ball. The golf ball holder works equally well for a right or left-handed person. Apertures are provided in the top surface of the golf ball holder to accept and securely hold golf tees and a golf ball marker. Finally, an area for advertising company or organizations names or logos is provided on the front of the golf ball holder.
