  • Patent number: 8298407
Abstract: Embodiments of the Gas Vent are comprised of a horizontal float assembly, and a vertical gas valve assembly. The horizontal float assembly is connected via a fluid connection to a surge tank or any other connection to the overall gas processing system. The horizontal float assembly is comprised of a housing; a horizontal float; a flange; a sight glass; one or more sight glass valves; a horizontal float lever arm; a vertical valve hinge arm, and a hinge. The housing of the horizontal float assembly is essentially a large hollow process vessel with various openings and fittings formed by the housing to accept the various devices and. The horizontal float is a large, hollow vessel that partially floats on top of any liquid contained within the horizontal float assembly. As the horizontal float rises and falls in conjunction allowing gas to vent as it is accumulated.

  • Patent number: 8205717
Abstract: The instant invention, the Vehicle Ladder Mounting System, is comprised of a rail assembly, a plurality of support assemblies, one or more security assemblies, and one or more accessory assemblies. The rail assembly of the instant invention is comprised of two parallel rails connected by a plurality of cross-member assemblies. The instant invention can be easily adapted, augmented, and modified because of the structure of the aluminum channel. The design of the instant invention allows for multiple configurations as the rail can be attached to the punched pattern in many configurations via a bolt-nut combination. The instant invention is also comprised of assemblies that can be used to stack ladders on a vehicle. The instant invention is also comprised of an inclined ladder rack assembly and accessory attachments such as the shovel holders, beacon support, and inclined beacon support.

  • Patent number: 8176692
Abstract: In areas with propensity for tornados, for example in the central part of the country, the plain states, the mid-west, and also in Florida, it is customary to have some form of storm shelter in which the occupants of commercial and residential buildings can seek refuge in the event of a tornado. The safest type of storm shelter is a so-called in-ground storm shelter. The embodiments of the In-Ground Storm Shelter are comprised of a bottom, a left side and a right side. The In-Ground Storm Shelter is further comprised of a front side and a back side, and a top side. The top side is further comprised of a removable back door, a sliding door, a top left shoulder and a top right shoulder.

  • Patent number: 7904393
Abstract: The instant invention is a method of indexing and displaying interests in real property tracts comprising accepting input of real property descriptions, maintaining a database containing interests in real property descriptions, creating an array index representing interests in real property tracts where each index in the array index represents a tract of real property, indexing of the property descriptions in the database to the related indices in the array index, and controlling a visual display device to indicate conflicting and non-conflicting interests in real property tracts.

  • Patent number: 7818894
Abstract: This process embodies forcing air through grain and granular biological products using a high volume horizontal airflow from a central vertical pervious tube to one or more plenum chambers near the structure sidewall to dry or cool products. Cross-flow air movement can be supplied by either suction or pressure. This conditioning and drying method has advantages over conventional storage structures, especially where product depth is much greater than diameter. In this process, horizontal air typically moves only ? to ? of vertical distances. Horizontal airflow resistance through elongated seeds is 50-60 percent of vertical airflow. Power for horizontal airflow is typically 8-15% that of vertical airflow. Grain and seed drying costs will be 15-30% of high temperature drying. To enhance germination, storage and grain and seed quality, and to kill or exclude insect pests, ozone is applied to drying or aeration airstreams for treating stored products and storages.

  • Patent number: 7690149
Abstract: The embodiments of Fan Fold Support employ a foam sheet with folds and apertures formed by the foam sheet. The apertures are formed by the foam sheet at alternating folds so that every other fold has an aperture. The final end shape is formed by folding in an accordion-like manner the folds and secured with a compression band. When folded the foam sheet folds are oriented at the top of the folded structure and the apertures are located at the bottom of the folded structure. The sheet may be of various geometry so as to accommodate a variety of final folded end shapes such as a block form, an oval shape, a square, a cylindrical, a cone, a cubic, hexagon, a pentagon, and other multi-sided structures. Objects to be supported are then placed between the folds formed by the foam sheet in the Fan Fold Support.

  • Patent number: 7337476
Abstract: The invention comprises a toilet seat that forms a hollow inside chamber that runs within the toilet seat. The bottom surface of the toilet seat also forms a plurality of linear, elongated louvers to allow a sweeping motion of air across the underside surface of the toilet seat and into the hollow inside chamber. These openings are oriented to establish a horizontal movement of the air inside the perimeter of the toilet seat to minimize the escape of odors from the toilet bowl. The toilet seat also forms a rear opening that a fan that withdraws air from the hollow inside chamber. The exhaust air passes through an odor adsorbing chamber adsorbing odors. The air is then expelled into the room back and downward, away from the user. Alternatively, the exhaust is channeled ventilation piping in the structure to be exhausted to the outside.

  • Patent number: 7150359
Abstract: An improved motorcycle wheel stand having a set of guide rails (12), a set of vertical supports (14), a positive stop (18), and a perpendicular stabilizing tube (16). The wheel is clamped by pressure supplied by an air spring (38) acting upon a pivoting lever (24) attached to a rotating shoe assembly (21) which rotates up and forward against the rear of the wheel, thus pushing the motorcycle into the stand. Removal of the motorcycle is accomplished by the pressing and cocking of assembly (21) by foot and rolling the motorcycle backwards. Assembly (21) is held down by virtue of the center line of spring (38) being out of line relative to spring mounting points (36) and (34) and the pivot point of lever (24).

  • Patent number: 7059082
Abstract: The instant invention allows the reuse of the insert to replace old flower arrangements with new ones. The instant invention is comprised of foam that is fan folded with folded edges on the topside insert. This fan folded foam is firmly inserted into the insert. Artificial flowers are inserted into the instant invention by placing floral stems between the foam layers that are capable of holding various sizes of floral stems and wooden or metal dowels for decorative ornaments such as flags. Artificial flower stems can be removed and reinserted into the foam layers without placing holes in foam layers making multiple reuse practical. The instant invention is superior to floral and craft foam which is traditionally used. The use of medium and large sleeves allows the vase insert to fit various sizes of memorial vases. The instant invention also provides a convenient and novel means of holding helium balloons.
