Abstract: A cat condominium which is constructed out of a rigid material such as wood, particle board, pressed wood, metal or the like which is rigid in erected form and collapsible for shipping and storage without the use of hinges or hardware.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a protective environmental mask connected to an air conditioning unit. The unit includes a blower, filters connected downstream of said blower, and a thermoelectric temperature controller connected downstream of said filters. The unit also includes controls for regulating air characteristics such as temperature, humidity and air flow. The unit further includes a tank for collecting moisture from the air passing through the thermoelectric temperature controller and a pumping circuit for subsequently pumping and spraying the condensate to the interior of the mask for an additional cooling effect by small sprayed water flows on adequate areas of the head.
Abstract: To place the bags on a filling spout, the bags are hurled one at a time w the valve flange through a shaping tube, which is distanced from the spout as to allow the filled bag to be removed from the spout without displacing the tube. The bag is hurled at high speed by at least one continuously moving belt engaging the bag body along the entire length of the tube, as to be placed on the spout substantially when the valve flange leaves the tube. This latter is formed of two symmetric parts, the distance between which is adjustable by means of double screws having two ends threaded in opposite directions and engaging corresponding holes of the two parts of the tube.

Abstract: The bags have each a pair of flanges folded on two edges, one of the flan being provided with a valve. The bags are placed vertically in a magazine, with the valve flange located on the vertical plane of a valve oening device. The bags are picked up one at a time by a device including a set of vacuum cups carried by a pivoted arm. The valve flange of the bags is firstly engaged by the vacuum cups. The arm is then rocked on said plane to align the flange with the opening device. Finally, the arm is telescopically extended the insert the flange into the opening device.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to an antenna system for C.B. radio use which is mounted upon a metallic base, such as the roof of an automobile, the antenna having the S-shape or Greek-key design configuration, the antenna being mounted at one end of the base through an insulating medium, the one end being coupled to a plate on the insulating medium which forms a capacitor with the insulating medium and the metallic base of fixed predetermined value. A variable capacitor is also formed between end extension of the plate and the free end of the antenna.
Abstract: The system includes two conductive sensors to be placed in contact with a body which exhibits voltage changes, such as the leaves of a plant. The sensors are connected to an amplifier having high input impedance and connected with positive feedback and providing good common mode rejection. The amplifier output, in response to voltage changes sensed by the sensors, drives a coil having an iron core, and current flow through the coil is sensed by a utilization device, which, in one arrangement, comprises a magnet secured to the clapper of wind bells.
Abstract: A system for alerting users of standard microfiche readers to updating of stored information. Printed "update" sheets permit a user to make full notation of complete information for ready reference by subsequent users. An illuminated viewer allows placement of a coded transparent grid card beneath a fiche on the viewer illuminated panel so that frame numbers are visible through the fiche. By use of permanent or washable translucent ink or opaque ink marker pens, coordinate squares of the fiche are appropriately marked to indicate updated information or deleted information.
