  • Patent number: 7523573
Abstract: A device comprised of two flat layers of equal dimensions shaped like a postcard, for mailing a biodegradable organic video media item, such as a CD or DVD, integrated and embodied into its bottom layer, so as to create a greeting card. A picturesque scene is on its front cover related to the contents of the CD or DVD. The back cover has areas designated for greetings, instructions, recipient's address, and postage. The top and bottom layers are glued together. The glue is positioned so as not to contact the readable surface of the CD or DVD and degrade play. Once the top layer is separated from the bottom layer, the recipient can detach the CD or DVD from the bottom layer along outlines of the inner and outer perimeters of the CD's or DVD's shape, in order to play the CD or DVD.

  • Patent number: 7445569
Abstract: A device for learning pitching technique for ball games and improving muscle strength through resistance training. The device, which consists of an elongated U shaped coiled tubular spring with a curved end and pair of straight parallel shaft portions with solid tips, is aligned with and strapped to the user's pitching forearm. The device adjusts to fit the forearm. A rod or elastic string is fitted through a sleeve in the ball's internal polar tunnel, and the opposing ends of the rod or string are attached to the tips so that the ball can be spun around the rod or bounced on the string, to simulate pitching. A shock absorbent casing on the curved end and strap increases comfort. Opposing ends of an elastic band can be attached to the device and a stable object, such as a pole, to perform resistance training.

  • Patent number: 7059375
Abstract: A device for applying wallpaper borders to walls and ceilings, which is anchored in place by conventional pin means pushed through holes in the surface of the device, for hands free maneuverability. The device is preferably composed of plastic which is waterproof easily cleaned, safe, and durable. The device is either transparent or made of mesh material, so the user can see when the wallpaper border is nearing its end without having to stop the application process. Handles of varying lengths adjust to wall and ceiling measurements, while the device's cup's length can vary to adjust to different widths of wallpaper border. A cap with a notched rim can also be fitted on the device to secure the wallpaper border inside the device. The device is easy enough for a novice to use and also creates an error free finish suitable for professional use.

  • Patent number: 6669478
Abstract: A method and device for teaching the pronunciation of the letters of the alphabet's phonetically correct sound, and recognition of name and shape, for learning reading and writing, utilizing the technique of multi-sensory tactile impressions. Illustrations of letters and their phonetically correct sounds are linked with commonly associated words. For example, the letter “s” is paired with an illustration of and the word “sun” to teach an unvoiced “s” sound; or paired with an illustration of and the word “rose” to teach a voiced “zzz” sound. The letter's textured surface is distinguishable from the pages' flat surface. While simultaneously tracing the letter's bumpy surface, the user vocalizes the letter's name, phonetically correct sound and associated word. Combinations of letters are used to blend sounds to form words. The same method can be used to teach number recognition and meaning.

The groove furthest from the free end of the butt end portion, corresponds to a soft shot, the adjacent groove, corresponds to a medium shot, the next adjacent groove, corresponds to a hard shot, and the next adjacent groove, corresponds to a break shot.
