Abstract: Disclosed are 14-aminosteroid compounds, including pharmaceutically acceptable acid salts and esters thereof, useful in treating individuals afflicted with congestive heart failure, which compounds have the general formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.3 is a deoxy or oxygen-substituted monosaccharide sugar residue and R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.4 are various other substituents as defined herein.

Abstract: A process for preparing viscoelastic, thixotropic, liquid, polymer-containing detergent compositions which exhibit increased density, enhanced aesthetics and improved rheological efficiency of the polymer is provided. The polymer thixotropic thickening agent is simultaneously added and mixed as a slurry to a premix under moderate to high shear rate to neutralize and disperse the polymer. The product is deaerated to increase density and enhance aesthetics by continued mixing under low to moderate shear rate of the slurry/premix composition. Sequential addition and mixing to the slurry/premix of organic solvent, oil, suds suppressors and solid material can aid in the deaeration step.

The composition may require a calcium chelating agent, particularly at pH levels above 9, to prevent the formation of CaCO.sub.3 precipitates during storage. The compositions exhibit good grease removal, mildness to the skin, and storage stability.
Abstract: A light-duty liquid or gel dishwashing detergent composition containing an alkyl ethoxy carboxylate surfactant, magnesium ions, a magnesium chelating agent, and a buffering agent to maintain the pH of the composition from about 8 to 10. High pH and magnesium ions of the composition provide good grease removal properties while maintaining mildness to the skin. The buffering agent and chelating agent of the composition provide superior physical and chemical stability during storage. The preferred type of dishwashing detergent composition is in the liquid form.
Abstract: A method for preparing a free flowing perfume capsule composition with enhanced performance and stability from slurries containing perfume capsules is described. A process comprising removing water from the slurry to form a wet cake, combining silicone dioxide or aluminosilicate to the wet cake to fluidize the wet cake and removing additional water from the fluidized wet cake to form free flowing perfume capsules is preferred.
