  • Patent number: 8287355
Abstract: The present invention relates to a gaming system and a method of gaming that includes a wheel game. A displayed representation of the wheel game is a wheel having a number of segments. Each segment is associated with a particular game outcome and an indicator indicates the segment with the selected game outcome for a particular game. At least one of the segments is associated with a game outcome which requires a further play of the wheel game. Outcomes of the wheel game are adjusted before play of the further game, which is then played including the adjusted available game outcomes. In an embodiment, the game outcomes are adjusted by multiplication factor, which is determined by a further selector, in an embodiment represented as a die at the centre of the wheel.

  • Patent number: 8287367
Abstract: A gaming system is provided having a display and a game controller. The system implements a game wherein random events are caused to be displayed on the display and, if a predefined winning event results, the system awards a prize. A feature game of the gaming system includes a series of prize outcomes and a series of intervening games, which provide a player with a chance of advancing to a subsequent prize outcome in the event of a winning outcome in an intervening game. A monitoring means may be provided for monitoring and indicating the number of non-winning game outcomes and triggering a penalty event in the event of the non-winning outcomes exceeding a threshold number. In another aspect, a prize outcome of a feature is a progressive prize and a progressive prize modifier for modifying the progressive prize before awarding the prize.

  • Patent number: 8285240
Abstract: Receiver architectures and methods of processing harmonic rich input signals employing harmonic suppression mixers are disclosed herein. The disclosed receivers, mixers, and methods enable a receiver to achieve the advantages of switching mixers while greatly reducing the mixer response to the undesired harmonics. A harmonic mixer can include a plurality of mixers coupled to an input signal. A plurality of phases of a local oscillator signal can be generated from a single local oscillator output. Each of the phases can be used to drive an input of one of the mixers. The mixer outputs can be combined to generate a frequency converted output that has harmonic rejection.

  • Patent number: 8285196
Abstract: An electronic infrastructure consisting a plurality of client mobile devices, a distribution server and network that communicatively couples the plurality of client mobile devices and distribution server, wherein the distribution server collects survey questionnaires from a questionnaire source, distributes survey questionnaire to the plurality of client mobile devices. Then, the distribution server receives responses from the users of plurality of client mobile devices and analyses the responses based upon several criteria. The questionnaire source is a user of the distribution server who delivers survey questionnaire. The criteria includes region based analysis, race based analysis, age based analysis, other criteria based analysis, high priority analysis and/or satisfaction level analysis. The survey questionnaire may be presented as one question per screen with multi choice answers, or multiple questions per screen in a tabular form.
