Abstract: A sliding rail consisting of two standards reciprocally defining a slotting wherein there is housed a shower support, into which there is obtained a recess intended to partly house a block forming a sliding guide for the support on the slotting. The sliding being allowed by the horizontal pivoting of the support relative to the block and by the consequent insertion or removal of the teeth provided on the support.
Abstract: An ion mobility spectrometer with a GC column and an internal circulation system is provided which can be used in trace gas analysis. Due to the special design of the gas circulation, the parameters: carrier gas velocity in the GC column, the flow rate of the gas to be analyzed and the flow rate of the drift gas can be varied extensively independently and without reaction. Additional pumps and gas splitters are arranged in the circulation system for this purpose.

Abstract: Each of two flow tubes assumes an arcuate shape consisting of a central arcuate segment and two linear segments located on opposite sides of the central arcuate segment. The inside diameter of the flow tubes and the linear distance between end points of each of the flow tubes are determined on the basis of a target pressure loss arising from passage of a fluid to be measured through a manifold and the flow tube at the maximum flow rate, a target time phase difference between sine wave outputs from vibration sensors at the maximum flow rate, and a target natural frequency of the flow tubes. The length of the linear segments is selected so as to reduce thermal stress induced from an abrupt change in the temperature of the fluid to be measured, and the shape of the flow tubes is determined so as to reduce the vertical height of the flow tubes, so long as the thermal stress is substantially constant even when the length of the linear segments is varied.

Abstract: An adapter (1) and electrochemical gas sensor (2) is provided with an electrochemical gas sensor housing (14) accommodating an electrolyte (13), with at least one measuring electrode (12) arranged therein and with a membrane (11), which screens the measuring electrode (12) from a measured gas and is permeable to the measured gas.
The measuring sensitivity of an electrochemical gas sensor is increased by the adapter (1) having a gas-impermeable surface (15) extending in parallel to and at a spaced location from the membrane (11). The adapter (1) and the membrane (11) form a flow gap (10) for the measured gas delivered by a pump. The adapter (1) may be plugged onto the electrochemical sensor (2) at its outer edge (1a). The measured gas enters through a central opening (17), expands in the flow gap (10) radially to the outside and leaves same via the ring-shaped gap (16).

Abstract: A rotary body for compensating the fanout in a printing press. The rotary body forms alternatingly foot sections and head sections projecting over the foot sections by radial height differences along an axis of rotation. The rotary body is a torsion-proof connection of parts or is a one piece structure. The radial height differences increase in the circumferential direction from minima, which they have along a first straight line offset in parallel to the axis of rotation, to maxima, which they have along a second straight line offset in parallel to the axis of rotation.

Abstract: A self-centering element for clamping workpieces via deflecting pins, which act between a drive element and self-centering slides. Deflecting pins, which are provided with grooves in which carrier prisms are arranged, are introduced in pairs into recesses in a housing in a plane located in parallel to the mounting surface of the element. The carrier prisms have wedge surfaces, which are slidingly guided in the grooves of the deflecting pins. The deflecting pins are controlled by pistons, which are arranged in the same plane but at right angles to the deflecting pins. The forces are transmitted beginning from the piston via the deflecting pins to the carrier prisms and then to the self-centering slides, which are connected to the carrier prisms and which move the clamping jaws.
