Abstract: A key switch wherein a key top 1 made of thermoplastic resin and a extruding part 2 made of thermoplastic elastomer are integrally formed, thereby improving clicking touch of a contact member, such as a metal belleville spring, a resin film dome or the like, which is placed underneath the extruding part and preventing breakage and laceration of the contact member. Further, a key switch is constructed such that extruding parts 2 of a plurality of key tops 1 are integrally linked by means of a U-shaped bridging member 3 made of thermoplastic elastomer, thereby causing elastic deformation of the bridging member 3 at the time of pressing one of the plurality of key tops 1 so that an extruding part 2 of an adjacent key top is prevented from operating together.
Abstract: In the case of a small-sized motor of the present invention, a printed board to which an electric circuit including an electric element is attached is mounted on a case cover. The printed board has a soldering part to be connected to a member attached to an interior of the case cover for being connected to an electric power source supplied from an outside and a soldering part to be connected to a projection in a notch provided on an opening part side of the metal case to body-earth the electric circuit. In the soldering part for the body-earthing, at the time of assembling the motor, after fitting the case cover to the metal case opening part, a pair of electrodes are brought into contact from an outside of the metal case near the soldering part, to weld the soldering part by a principle of the electric resistance welding.
Abstract: The leading end of a wire to be wound fed from a coil winder is wound around one of commutator leg parts a prescribed number of turns and then wound around a corresponding salient pole. After that, it is similarly wound successively around other commutator leg parts and around other salient poles and, after it is wound around the same commutator leg part as the one around which the leading end of the wire was first wound, the wound wire is cut. Only the portions that will be wound around the commutator leg parts in synchronization with the feed of the wire to be wound from the coil winder are stripped of their insulating coat prior to being wound, and the wound portions of the commutator leg parts are welded.
Abstract: A device for gas analysis with a sensor (5) and a measured gas pump (3). The sensor (5) can be connected in a simple manner both with the suction side (7) or the pressure side (8) of the measured gas pump (3). To accomplish the object, a plug-in adapter (6) is provided, which has a first measuring channel (14) that is in flow connection with the sensor (5), whereby the plug-in adapter (6) can be connected with the measured gas pump (3) in two positions in such a way that a connecting branch (13) of the first measuring channel (14) is connected in a first position of the plug-in adapter (6) on the pressure side (8) and in a second position on the suction side (7) of the measured gas pump (3).
Abstract: Insulation displacement contact (20) having a conductive element (22) with an aperture (24). Contact portions (32) defined by parts of the edge of the aperture (24) converge towards each other and have opposed contact edges (32c) between which is defined a channel (42). Wires (48) introduced into an enlarged portion (24a) of the aperture (24) can be laterally moved into the channel (42) to cut insulation of the wire (48) and make electrical connection between a conductor (52) of the wire and the contact edges (32c). To improve stability, the contact element (22) has, at opposite edges, oppositely directed flanges (46, 48).
Abstract: An automatic transmission of a motor vehicle is provided that can be in at least one secured state and one unsecured state has a pivotable selector lever for selecting different gears and/or gear selections and has a first blocking mechanism, which can block the pivoting movement of the selector lever. The first blocking mechanism has a displaceable blocking element and a stationary blocking contour for engaging the blocking element and can prevent the selector lever from being pivoted by the blocking element engaging the blocking contour. A second blocking mechanism has a toggle lever, which is in contact with a stop in a stretched-out blocking position and prevents the release of the first blocking mechanism and makes possible the unlocking of the first blocking mechanism in the release position. A release mechanism releases the toggle lever from the stretched-out blocking position.
Abstract: A ball-and-socket joint, preferably for motor vehicles, in which a joint ball formed on a pivot pin is mounted movably in a bearing shell consisting of a plastic, is presented. The bearing shell has recesses accommodating lubricant on its inner jacket surface facing the joint ball and is itself inserted into a housing. According to the present invention, the recesses may be grooves as a structural system with groove sections or depressions of microscopic size extending obliquely in relation to the central longitudinal axis of the ball-and-socket joint. Due to this novel design, a pumping effect is achieved during movements of the joint ball over the groove sections, and this pumping effect draws the lubricant present in the groove sections into the gap between the joint ball and the bearing shell, so that improved lubrication of the ball-and-socket joint compared with the state of the art is guaranteed under all operating conditions.
Abstract: Device for the contacting of a wire conductor (113) in the course of the manufacture of a transponder unit arranged on a substrate (111) and comprising a wire coil (112) and a chip unit (115), wherein in a first phase the wire conductor (113) is guided away via the terminal area (118, 119) or a region accepting the terminal area and is fixed on the substrate (111) relative to the terminal area (118, 119) or the region assigned to the terminal area by a wire guide and a portal, and in a second phase the connection of the wire conductor (113) to the terminal area (118,119) is effected by means of a connecting instrument (125).
Abstract: A process for the production of a manufactured article for coatings, for components of sanitary ware, kitchen fittings, etc., in polymerized transparent resin in which marble and other stones are embedded. The surface of the product is worked by brushing with abrasives, so as to obtain depressions corresponding to the resin, and slight projections with substantially uniform distribution corresponding to the inserts; advantageously, the inserts are “decapitated” to give smoothed surfaces.
Abstract: A heater of a motor vehicle is provided which is operated with liquid fuel. The heater is especially a water heater in the form of an auxiliary heater or parking heater. The heater has a burner and heat exchanger in a housing with a cover, in which the connecting branches for the water feed and air feed and for the water return and the air return are arranged. At least one of the connecting branches is designed as a rotatable elbow branch (rotatable elbow socket). An antirotation lock may be provided for easy individual line guidance requiring little space in the automobile.

Abstract: A tilting pin mechanism is provided, preferably for the clamping device of a motor vehicle steering column, whose position is adjustable, for detachably fixing a housing accommodating the steering column at a bracket that is a rigid part of the body. The housing and the bracket have at least one cooperating friction surface pair that can be pressed against each other by means of the tilting pin mechanism. The tilting pin mechanism includes a centrally arranged bolt which is displaceable in the direction of its central longitudinal axis and with at least one tilting pin whose longitudinal axis is arranged approximately in parallel to the central longitudinal axis of the bolt. The tilting pin is supported on one side directly or indirectly at a bolt collar and is accommodated at its other end in a recess on the front side of an actuating ring.
Abstract: A cut design for diamonds having a crown of substantially a frustum shape and substantially a conic pavilion directly under the frustum part, the diamond being enhanced in the brilliancy and scintillation of its crown part, the brilliancy and scintillation twinkling, and bluish lights being returned as reflected lights. A crown angle c and a pavilion angle p are so determined that lights coming in crown facets and emitted from crown facets, lights coming in the table facet and emitted from the crown facets, and lights coming in the crown facets and emitted from the table facet be directed toward the observer at the same time. Further, it is preferable to determine the crown angle c and the pavilion angle p so that the angles formed by incident lights and emitted lights are substantially equal to each other. Its table diameter should be between or equal to 0.60 and 0.33, more preferably not more than 0.55 and even more preferably not more than 0.38, in its ratio to the girdle diameter.
Abstract: The size of a coin hopper on the whole is reduced, particularly providing fewer coin holes for discharging and accepting a coin. A container or coin hopper head generally of a cylindrical form stores a plurality of coins in a bulk condition. A disk is freely rotatably arranged within the bottom of this head, for releasing said coins. The disk has a one coin passage opening for accepting and releasing said coins.
