One of the connection flanges is arranged under the pipeline when viewed from a base plate on which the pipeline is supported vertically toward the central axis of the pipeline.
Abstract: The present invention provides an electrical circuit distribution structure and a method for forming an electrical circuit distribution structure for a decorative lighting string, wherein non-electrical connectors being formed by the ropes, said rope formed from filaments having wound and twisted into a small bundle line, then said lines being wound and twisted into a large rope, said twisted rope to use a reversing force to form an open part at intervals to accept electrical conductors with the lamp bulbs, the lamp bases or lamp holders to pass through its open part, while an electrical conductor intersected from the open part. As a rebound force makes the open part be shrunken so that electrical conductors with the lamp bulbs, the lamp bases or lamp holders are fixed together whereby to form various shapes in the safe lighting string.

Abstract: A packet based high-speed communications mesh is disclosed including a plurality of switches trunked network interfaces including links connecting the switches to form a trunk cluster. Edge devices are connected to the trunk cluster via trunked links. The trunked links provide a physical connection form each switch to each edge device. A configuration protocol is used for configuring the trunk cluster by eliminating links connected to a switch upon loss of connectivity to a switch. The protocol includes trunk configuration protocol packets transmitted by the edge devices. A trunk switch agent associated with each switch receives and transmits all trunking protocol packets for the associated switch and builds up an identifier list upon monitoring trunk configuration protocol packets. The agent monitors link status and accesses the list.

Abstract: A horizontal disk-type coin hopper is provided that reduces the propensity for coins to be standing on the rotating disk and improves coin pickup. The hopper prevents coin bridging and the coin interlocking phenomenon in a hopper tank. The coin hopper includes the tank with a pot shape for storing a plurality of coins and the disk (52) which is positioned substantially horizontally at the inner bottom of the tank. The disk rotates freely. A hole is opened in the disk and provides a passage for coins positioned in a horizontal state. The hopper has a mechanism for releasing coins with a stirring body (10) which is on the top surface of the disk and is arranged on the turn center position of the disk.
Abstract: A miniature motor includes: a plurality of magnets serving as stator poles and attached to an inner surface of a motor casing having a closed-bottomed cylindrical shape; a salient-pole rotor having a core mounted on a rotor shaft and windings placed on the core; and a commutator mounted on the rotor shaft. The core includes a center portion having a hole formed therein at the center for engagement with the rotor shaft, a plurality of leg portions extending integrally and radially from the center portion in equal number with the salient poles, and a plurality of wing portions, each extending integrally and symmetrically from an end of each of the leg portions. The core includes core laminations blanked from sheet steel and assembled together and is formed through deformation of the entire wing portions such that the radius of a circumcircle of the core coincides with a designed final radius of curvature of outer circumferential surfaces of the salient poles of the rotor.
Abstract: An arrangement for cleaning the mirror element of an outside rear view mirror is disclosed. The arrangement includes a washing nozzle, which is disposed in the region of the outside rear view mirror on a motor vehicle and from which a jet of a cleaning liquid may be discharged. The position of the mirror element (1) relative to the body of the motor vehicle is variable, whereas the washing nozzle (9) is connected in a fixed manner to the body. To improve the cleaning action of the washing to nozzle (9), the mirror element (2) may be adjusted between a normal position, in which the driver may observe the traffic behind him in the mirror element (2), and a cleaning position, in which an advantageous angle for cleaning, in particular a steep angle arises between the mirror plane of the mirror element (2) and the jet of cleaning liquid.

Abstract: A symmetrical component of a turbine unit, whose wall is exposed to a hot medium on one side and is subject to nonuniform thermal stress over the circumference, is cooled by a flow of cooling air being guided along the other side of the component. A ring (5) is provided with slots (7) or other openings for the passage of the cooling air. The ring (5) protrudes into the flow of the cooling air. The overall cross section of the slots (7) that are arranged in the sections of the ring (5) that are adjacent to the areas of the component that are subject to the higher stress is larger than the overall cross section of the slots (7) that are arranged in the sections of the ring (5) that are adjacent to the areas of the component that are subject to a lower stress.

Abstract: An optical gas-measuring system and process identifies especially infrared-active individual gases over a measuring path of about 100 m and to determine their concentration averaged over the measuring path swept. The laser source (11) emits a divergent ray beam, from which both the measuring beam and the reference beam are formed after a single-time reflection of the emitted ray beam. A first radiation reflector (14) is designed in the form of a first hollow mirror for the reflection of a first part of the ray beam emitted from the laser source (11) as a measuring beam into the open optical measuring path. A second radiation reflector (16) is designed in the form of a second hollow mirror for the reflection of a second part of the ray beam emitted from the laser source (11) as a reference beam into a reference gas cuvette (17) containing the reference gas sample for the gas to be measured.
Abstract: This invention concerns an end plate (11) for an ammunition chamber (12) to be inserted into the handle of a pistol (13) from below. At the front, it consists of an extendable element (17) which moves between a retracted rest position, co-planar with and in line with the end plate, and an extended downwards position, in order to increase temporarily and deliberately the gripping surface area of the handle, at least in a front part of the latter.
Abstract: The invention relates to a transgenic non-human mammal whose cells express a constitutively active oncogenic mutant of the kinase-domain of the Raf-1 gene or a protein coded by a corresponding normal allele or derivative of the A, B or c-Raf-1 gene.
Abstract: A monitor is provided for a bobbin thread on double thread lockstitch sewing machines. This is preferably a sewing machine with a rotating hook with a bobbin housing accommodating the lower thread reserve. The monitor includes a revolution sensor which sends a pulse per revolution of the main shaft of the machine to a microcomputer. An infrared laser light transmitter sends a detection beam directed toward a bobbin. The beam is reflected by the bobbin or by the roll of a residual thread length to a receiver and is sent by the latter to the microcomputer in the form of signals for processing, evaluation and/or forwarding. The microcomputer is adapted to compare the different signal patterns with a detection threshold (DS) to generate signals for controlling the sewing machine. A controllable power source is connected to the microcomputer for the occasional, stepwise reduction of the output of the infrared laser light transmitter.
