Patent number: 7143617Abstract: A press forming machines includes displacement measuring means for measuring a displacement between a slide plate and a reference plate. Control means measures a positional displacement of each of the driving sources by using the displacement measuring means in each of a plurality of operating steps during the molding operation, detects a desired displacement position of the entire slide plate, extracts control data including a correction amount to maintain the entire slide plate at the desired displacement position, the correction amount corresponding to a change in load on each of the driving sources, stores the control data in the memory, supplies the control data to the driving sources, and separately drives the driving sources. Since an actual molding operation can be performed using control data generated in a trial molding operation, the cycle time of the actual molding can be shortened.Type: GrantFiled: February 13, 2003Date of Patent: December 5, 2006Assignee: Institute of Technology Precision Electrical Discharge Work'sInventors: Shoji Futamura, Keizo Unno

Patent number: 5895886Abstract: A supply unit for supplying a workplace with electricity and/or gaseous media, with a first, vertically extending supply duct and a second, vertically extending supply duct, wherein the electricity and the media are led to connections on at least one of the supply ducts. From these connections the workplace is supplied and improved such that the ergonomically most favorable arrangement of the supply tubes and electric lines leading to the connections will be possible. This object is accomplished by a section of the side surfaces having an angle of inclination less than 90.degree. in relation to the base such that the ends of the side surfaces pointing away from the base can be connected at a common junction. The connections are arranged exclusively on the outer side surfaces and that the distance between the supply ducts is such that the workplace can be brought into the space between the supply ducts.Type: GrantFiled: February 22, 1996Date of Patent: April 20, 1999Assignee: Dragerwerk AktiengesellschaftInventors: Helmut Beuster, Rudolf Greiff, Georg Schlor, Bernd Schlichting, Dirk Lenz

Patent number: 5875783Abstract: A gas delivery arrangement for respirators and anesthesia apparatus includes a radial flow compressor (10) with bent-backwards blades. The compressor impeller (11) is arranged in a stationary housing (14). The gas inlet (12) is located in the area of the axis of rotation of the compressor impeller (11) and the blades (13) extend from the gas inlet (12) in the area of the axis of rotation to the circular outer edge of the compressor impeller (11) and end there nearly tangentially. The free gas flow path between the outer edge of the compressor impeller (11) and the inner wall of the housing (14) passes over into the gas outlet (15) of the gas delivery arrangement in the direction of gas flow. The compressor impeller is driven by an electric motor and has a radius of up to 40 mm and a mass moment of inertia of up to about 4.times.10.sup.-6 kg.times.m.sup.2.Type: GrantFiled: November 6, 1997Date of Patent: March 2, 1999Assignee: Dragerwerk AGInventor: Gotz Kullik

Patent number: 5797572Abstract: The device has a mounting frame with a nut housing, into which a threaded rod is inserted. The threaded rod has interrupted teeth and meshes with a nut, which likewise has interrupted teeth. An adjustable carrier, with which the threaded rod can be detachably fixed at each depth of insertion, is arranged behind the nut. A time-consuming screwing in and out of the threaded rod as well as fixing with a lock nut are avoided.Type: GrantFiled: May 7, 1996Date of Patent: August 25, 1998Assignee: Geberit Technik AGInventors: Peter Schmucki, Silvio Marti

Patent number: 5788148Abstract: In a vehicle heating appliance, an overhead state is detected by an overheating temperature sensor by means of a microprocessor. The overheating temperature sensor supplies a signal (UTF) to the microprocessor, and when the signal (UTF) exceeds a threshold value, the microprocessor blocks the transmission of driving signals to a driving transistor (Tr) for the fuel dosing pump. A circuit connected in parallel to the microprocessor with a threshold value switch acts as a redundant switching-off device. The output signal of the threshold value switch is applied to an AND-gate whose output is connected to the base of the driving transistor (Tr) and whose other input receives the driving signals from the microprocessor. When the signal UFT exceeds the threshold value of the threshold switch, the AND-gate blocks all signal transmission from the microprocessor to the driving transistor, so that the fuel dosing pump is stopped.Type: GrantFiled: June 28, 1996Date of Patent: August 4, 1998Assignee: J. Eberspacher GmbH & Co.Inventors: Erwin Burner, Jurgen Epple, Michael Humburg, Johannes Koch

Patent number: 5775725Abstract: Device for fastening an air bag housing including a housing bottom and a housing cover in the steering wheel. Hooks extending in parallel to the central axis of the steering wheel are arranged at the bottom of the housing, and a matching number of pretensioned leg springs are arranged on the skeleton of the steering wheel, with one of their legs being firmly clamped in a bracket releasing a guide window for the hook such that the free leg of the spring is located in the area of the guide window and consequently in the path of insertion of the hook.Type: GrantFiled: October 2, 1996Date of Patent: July 7, 1998Assignee: Petri AGInventors: Hung Hodac, Karl Hussy

Patent number: 5773759Abstract: The new-type conduit fitting has at least a first, a second and a third part, through each part passes a hole which allows the parts to be pushed axially over the cable. The first part can be connected to a housing in an electrically conductive manner and can be axially tensioned with the third part. The second part is electrically conductive, and it reduces the cross section of its hole with increasing axial tensioning between the first and third parts. The hole of the first part expands conically against the second part, wherein the second part is a annular sleeve with a sheathing surface conically tapering against the first part and with a cylindrical inner surface, and the development of the annular sleeve has a shape meandering in a zigzag pattern. A fourth part formed as a rubber sleeve is positioned around the cable, and a fifth part formed as a union nut compresses the rubber sleeve between the union nut and the third part.Type: GrantFiled: December 9, 1996Date of Patent: June 30, 1998Assignee: Agro AGInventor: Richard Hablutzel

Patent number: 5758906Abstract: The socket has an essentially cylindrical outer layer of glass fiber-reinforced plastic and a sealing sleeve arranged in a recess in the outer layer. This sealing sleeve has, between the two socket ends, a rib serving as a stop for the ends of the two pipes to be connected to one another. Here, the outer layer forms a first and a second hollow cylindrical, dimensionally stable edge section, the first of which is substantially longer than the second. That end of such a socket which is formed by the longer edge section can be pushed relatively easily onto a first pipe and can also be nondetachably bonded thereto by means of an adhesive. The second pipe having the same diameter can then be inserted into the socket end formed by the shorter edge section. Here, the relatively short edge section makes it possible to insert the second pipe into the socket with a tight seal even when the axes of socket and pipe do not coincide but make a small angle with one another.Type: GrantFiled: July 7, 1995Date of Patent: June 2, 1998Assignee: Hobas Engineering AGInventors: Borge Carlstrom, Peter Kunze, Johann Mitteregger
