  • Patent number: 7059246
Abstract: A process is provided for obtaining or refreshing the illustration of a printing form, preferably in wet-offset printing. Instead of clearing the illustration over the entire area, the printing form is acted on during the production. For this, a processing agent can act on the printing form in different areas for images. A processing agent preferably acts over the entire area of the printing form, in which case the layer of ink located on the printing form leads to a locally different intensity of the action, corresponding to the illustration of the printing form. Photocatalytic effects are preferably used. A hydrophilization of non-image areas is brought about by irradiation in the presence of water molecules. Since printing ink containing little water lies on the image areas, hydrophilization cannot occur on the image areas. Thus, in spite of the entire-area action on the printing form, an image-related refreshing or obtaining of the illustration is automatically achieved.

  • Patent number: 7060936
Abstract: A heating system for a vehicle includes a heater (12) with a first electric heating device (24), which can be operated to ignite an air/fuel mixture present in a combustion chamber (16), and with a second electric heating device (22) for supporting the evaporation of the fuel. An actuating device (26) is provided for putting the heater (12) into operation after a start command has been generated. A first start command generating device (30, 36, 26) can be actuated by a user to generate a start command and a second start command generating device (32, 38, 26) generates a start command according to an operating program. The actuating device (26) operates the second heating device (22) at a lower heat output after a start command has been generated by means of the second start command generating device (32,38, 26).

  • Patent number: 7055980
Abstract: A decorative tree lamp includes a long trunk composed of many short pipes. The height of the tree lamp can be adjusted based on the number of the short pipes used. At least one of the short pipes that form the long trunk is provided with one or more connecting rings to connect with many branches. A base frame is used as a supporting surface and has a center axial receiving part to support the long trunk so that it stands up right and straight. Multiple branches connect one end with the connecting ring on the short pipe and use the connecting ring as the base point. The other end of the branch extends away from the center of the trunk to be able to stretch out to form a tree shape and to also be able to be folded up to reduce the volume. One of single or multiple sets of light strings are provided, composed of many lamp bulbs, lamp holders, electrical conductors and receptacles. A fixing device is used to fix the light strings on the branches to establish tree light strings.

  • Patent number: 7051652
Abstract: A wet offset printing form has atop layer containing a photocatalytically and thermally modifiable material. The material can be brought photocatalytically into a hydrophilic state by irradiation with light and into a lipophilic state by heating. The hydrophilic state forms a surface that can be illustrated and the lipophilic state forms an illustrated surface. The top layer of the wet offset printing form may contain absorption centers for irradiation, especially for laser radiation in the NIR range, with which heating of the top layer in the pattern of an image is brought about.

  • Patent number: 7052004
Abstract: A hydraulically damping rubber mount is provided with a variable channel length. The mount channel length can be adapted to the later intended use with a simple design during the manufacture without changing the design. The hydraulic mount has an elastomeric damping member, at least two chambers to accommodate a fluid damping agent and a channel carrier with a channel connecting the chambers in a flow-conducting manner. The channel has passage openings to the chambers. An incompletely closed ring, one end of which forms a channel deflection, is displaceably guided in the channel in the manner according to the present invention. The channel is divided as a result into two channel parts, which unite between the ends of the ring and through which the damping agent flows in opposite directions.

  • Patent number: 7045183
Abstract: The ease of opening of a tubular casing is facilitated based on a plastic film comprising three or more layers. The tubular sealed casing (1) for packaging the contents therein is based on a composite plastic film formed into a tubular form by bending the base film into a circular form, overlaying two edges of the bent base film, and heat-sealing the overlaid section so that a not heat-sealed section (8) will be left in an edge section of an upper film when the two edges thereof are overlaid on each other. The casing base film (2) is a composite plastic film comprising three or more layers. In this casing, the peel strength between the outer layer (5) and intermediate layer film (3) is set to a lower level as compared to the peel strength between the inner layer film (4) and intermediate layer film (3).

  • Patent number: 7044048
Abstract: A drive unit is provided for the coaxial twisting movement of two stabilizer halves of a motor vehicle axle stabilizer with a tubular housing. Two housing halves are provided having an interior of which a hydraulically movable actuating piston is arranged displaceably in relation to the longitudinal axis of the housing. The longitudinal displacement of the piston is converted by an intercalated cam drive into a rotary movement of the housing halves around their common longitudinal axis. The housing halves are fixed with their respective free ends facing away from one another at a stabilizer halve. A hydraulically actuated releasing piston is pretensioned against a spring element and arranged at each opposite flat sides of the actuating piston, wherein the releasing pistons make possible the displacing movement of the central actuating piston in the pretensioned position and fix the actuating piston in its middle position in the released position.
