  • Patent number: 7225641
Abstract: A cut design of an ornamental diamond and an observation method of the diamond which an observer can perceive a more beauty, are disclosed. The cut design is a round brilliant cut comprising a girdle, a crown above the girdle and a pavilion below the girdle. A girdle height (h) is 0.026 to 0.3 times a girdle radius, a pavilion angle (p) of a pavilion main facet ranges from 37.5 degrees to 41 degrees, and a crown angle (c) of a crown main facet is within a range of satisfying: c>?2.8667×p+134.233 and p<¼×{(sin?1(1/n)+sin?1(1/n·sin c))×180/?+180?2c}, wherein n: refraction index of a diamond, ?: circular constant, p: pavilion angle in degrees, and c: crown angle in degrees. The cut design of the ornamental diamond provides an observer with plenty of visual-perceptible reflection when the observer watches the diamond above a table facet with a sight line of an angle less than 20 degrees with a vertical line at the center of the table facet.

  • Patent number: 7217030
Abstract: An oscillating weight for an automatic watch is arranged to carry a bearing defining an axis of rotation (A—A) and is intended to be mounted on the frame of the watch. The mass member of the weight has a center of gravity (G) shifted with respect to the axis of rotation. In this weight, this mass member includes two parts that can be moved one (10, 18) in relation to the other (24), and arranged such that their relative movement causes a radial movement of the center of gravity (G) of the mass member. The mass member also has a securing device (13, 14, 16b) cooperating with the first and second parts, capable of occupying a first state in which the parts can be moved with reference to each other, and a second state in which the parts are rigidly secured to each other.

  • Patent number: 7214350
Abstract: A device for additive-free, catalytically induced oxidation of solid carbon particles and decomposition of chemical compounds, comprising a converter chamber with compartments, in which porous structure catalyst carrier matrix profiles are mounted, so that a space between the internal diameter of catalyst profiles is connected to an inlet connection of the converter chamber, and a space around the external diameter of the catalyst profiles is connected to an outlet connection into the catalyst chamber. The profiles are mounted so that gas particles reach outlets only by passing through porous profiles. Advantageously, a third opening through which liquid, gaseous media, e.g., NO2, O3 or H2O or auxiliary means maybe in front of the porous structures. The porous structures are made of catalytically active material with catalytic action at temperatures below 400° C., preferably below 350° C. and especially below 300° C. The low-temperature below 250° C. by H2O is preferred.

  • Patent number: 7210370
Abstract: A shifting device (4) is provided for an automatic transmission and has an additional manual shifting function. The device includes a selector lever (6), which is mounted pivotably on a gear shift lever (10) such that different, automatically shiftable gears can be preset in a first shift gate (1) and individual, manually shiftable gears can be preset in a second shift gate (2). A housing (5) is provided, in which the gear shift gate (10) is mounted with the selector lever (6) pivotably in such a way that shifting between a predetermined gear (“D”) of the first shift gate (1) and a neutral position (“M”) of the second shift gate (2) is made possible. The further shifting from the predetermined gear (“D”) of the first shift gate (1) into at least one other gear (“3”) of the first shift gate is prevented by a lock, which is overcome by the actuation of an actuating element.
