  • Patent number: 7641528
Abstract: The system is an enclosed, oil filled, shaft and thrust bearing assembly which includes an oil pump to circulate the oil throughout the system. The thrust bearing assembly allows the thrust to be directed to the shafts mounting system rather than through the vessels main propulsion engines and isolators thereby reducing vibration and noise emissions. In addition the elimination of thrust loading transmitted directly to the propulsion engines reduces wear and tear on the engine mounts, isolators and engine support structures. The non rotating casing of the shaft assembly allows clean water to flow to the propeller which allows more delivered horsepower to be used by the propeller.

  • Patent number: 7621129
Abstract: A geothermal power system for production of power, and in particular electrical energy, utilizing naturally occurring geothermal energy sources and a method for identifying and converting manmade and natural geological formations into a substantial source of energy and at the same time providing remediation of environmental and safety hazards. Utilizing surface air that is substantially cooler than the geothermal temperature of the subterranean cavern an induced air flow will be produced. This naturally induced air flow will be harnessed and provide the energy to the system power plants for production of electrical energy. The system includes a hydro-electric power system, a geothermal well, underground farms, heat recovery systems, a source of renewable biomass material, and air and water remediation systems.

  • Patent number: 7623026
Abstract: A self-contained hazard marker which is easily deployed and highly visible. The hazard marker utilized an elevated collapsible illumination device which utilizes LEDs mounted to a flexible printed circuit board in a fashion that allows the circuit board to be formed into a tubular shape with the LEDs on the outer surface of the tube in a fashion that disperses the light in a 360 degree pattern. These LEDs can be illuminated in various patterns thereby producing various effects. They can produce a rotating light effect, a blinking light effect, a strobe effect and a simulated flare. The elevated illumination device is also collapsible into the body (protection chamber) of the marker in the event a vehicle is driven over the marker. The marker has a ramp shape to it that starts at ground level and extends to the top of the unit. This shape inherently prevents the unit from lateral movement when impacted.

  • Patent number: 7621660
Abstract: A lighting kit includes all the components necessary to install a lighting fixture on a support post or pole. The components are made of polymeric materials to provide an electrically nonconducting enclosure attached to the support post and the fixture. A collar made of fiberglass reinforced polymer is attached to an electrical junction box. The collar has a tubular projection for connecting with the fixture. Spacer blocks are pivotally attached to the junction box and to the support post securing the kit to the post.

  • Patent number: 7621254
Abstract: The instant invention provides a torodial internal combustion engine with lengthened pistons that move through three perpendicularly intersecting torodial cylinders. The engine includes one central power ring and a pair of charge rings which intersect opposite quadrants of the power ring at right angles to supply a fuel/air mixture to the power ring for combustion. The charge rotors are connected to the power rotor, through a gear-train, so that all of the rotors rotate at the same rate. The fuel/air mixture is combusted within a combustion chamber formed entirely within the power ring.

  • Patent number: 7621908
Abstract: An esophageal catheter for displacing and fixing the position of the esophagus in relation to the atrium of the heart is composed of a long flexible tube to be inserted into the esophagus. A control wire is associated with the tube to change the shape of the catheter and displace the esophagus relative to the heart to reduce the risk of an esophageal fistula resulting from atrial RF ablation.

  • Patent number: 7594835
Abstract: An improved tunnel configuration for tunnel mounted surface piercing propellers. The improved tunnel configuration provides a flooding suction to the tunnel to allow flooded propeller operation at speeds below planning. The tunnel is stepped whereby an upper portion of the tunnel is sized to allow the propeller to draw air at high speeds. The lower portion of the tunnel is sized to allow the propeller to be flooded resulting in smooth acceleration, improved handling in forward and reverse and a reduction of the transition period.
