A base tooth ring on the carrier base and an arm tooth ring on the support arm, wherein the arm tooth ring releasably interlocks with the base tooth ring. A base column having a hollow interior chamber carried by the carrier base, and an arm column carried by the support arm extending into the hollow interior chamber. A first stop block channel disposed in a bottom surface of the base column, and a second stop block channel disposed in the support arm adjacent an exterior side of the arm column. A first stop block carried by a distal end of the base column received into the second stop block channel, and a second stop block carried by a distal end of the arm column being received into the first stop block channel to define a range of pivotal movement.

Abstract: As discovered herein, using miRNAs having high homology with both HIV-1 and a co-infecting virus such as HHV-6, HHV-7, or GVB-C, one can inhibit viral replication, more particularly HIV-1 replication using such mutually homologous miRNAs that give rise to the creation of stable triplex formations effective in the downregulation and/or inhibition of viral replication.

Abstract: This invention is directed to a rifle barrel having a gas port for a gas operated weapon system comprising: a forward gas redirection tube operably associated to said rifle barrel so that expelled gas from a cartridge travels out of said gas port and into said forward gas redirection tube; a rear gas connector operably associated with said forward gas redirection tube for receiving expelled gas traveling in said forward gas redirection tube; a rear gas redirection tube removably connected to said rear gas connector for receiving expelled gas and transferring said gas to the action of the weapons system to assist with the cycling of the weapons system action; a sleeve arranged around said rifle barrel defining a void between said rifle barrel and said sleeve; and filler material carried in said void defined between said rifle barrel and said sleeve wherein said forward gas redirection tube is disposed within said filler material between said sleeve and said barrel.

Abstract: A first linkage component including a ball socket having a concave profiling and a second linkage component including a projection having a convex profiling received in the concave profiling of the ball socket. A sliding plate carried between the ball socket and projection having a convex profiling conforming to the concave profiling of the ball socket and a concave profiling conforming to the convex profiling of the projection. The convex profilings of the projection and sliding plate have a larger radius of curvature than the concave profilings of the sliding plate and the ball socket. A connecting rod connects the first linkage component, the second linkage component, and the sliding plate together. Wherein the larger radius of curvature of the convex profiling of the sliding plate and projection causes the projection and sliding plate to be further received in the ball socket after abrasive wear to prevent play between components.

Abstract: This invention is a computerized football game comprising steps to establishing and displaying a game clock, receiving the player's selection information representing a kickoff reception request, calculating a current field position according to the set of kickoff return results, (a) receiving the player's selection information representing an offensive play request from the set of predefined plays, (b) updating the current field position according to the deep zone set of play advancement information if the current position is in the deep zone or according to the mid zone set of play advancement information if the current position is in the mid zone or according to the near zone set of play advancement information is the current position is in the near zone and the goal line has not been reached or until a touchdown is achieved or the game clock expires or a first down is not achieved after four tries.

Abstract: An upper tray adapted to receive a wearer's maxillary teeth. A lower tray adapted to receive the wearer's mandibular teeth. A first upper ridge is carried on a maxillary occlusal surface of the upper tray. A second upper ridge is carried on the maxillary occlusal surface of the upper tray posterior to and spaced from the first upper ridge. A lower ridge is carried on a mandibular occlusal surface of the lower tray received between the first upper ridge and the second upper ridge. The lower tray is movable to a forward position where the lower ridge abuts the first upper ridge to limit forward movement of the lower tray in relation to the upper tray, and the lower tray is movable to a rearward position where the lower ridge abuts the second upper ridge to limit rearward movement of the lower tray in relation to the upper tray.

A first locking element having a first locking surface affixed on one of the bearing surfaces, and a second locking surface affixed on one of the bearing counter surfaces engaging the first locking surface. A spring element biasing the first and the second locking surfaces together. The first axial spacing is less than the second axial spacing so that there is a second spring force acting on the first and second locking surfaces superimposed on the first spring force.

Abstract: Disclosed are composites that can exhibit low transmission energy loss and can also be temperature resistant. The composites include reinforcement fibers held in a polymeric matrix. The reinforcement fibers can include an amorphous polymer component. The fibers can be woven or knit to form a fabric or can be included in a nonwoven fabric. The composites can include other fibers as well, such as fiberglass. The composites can be multi-layer structures and can include layers of other materials, for instance layers formed of polyaramids, fiberglass, or carbon fiber wovens or nonwovens. The composites can advantageously be utilized in low loss dielectric applications, such as in forming circuit board substrates.

Abstract: An adjustable support arm for a vehicle exterior rearview mirror assembly comprising a holder base adapted for mounting to the vehicle; a holder pivotally carried on the holder base; a pivot control unit included in the holder for engaging the holder base to resist rotation of the holder on the holder base; the pivot control unit including: a compression spring disposed within a retainer opening of the holder; a bushing carried on the compression spring for engaging a bearing surface in the retainer opening; and, a retainer carried in the retainer opening and coupled to the holder base to retain the compression spring and the bushing in the retainer opening, wherein the retainer is constructed and arranged to direct the bushing laterally against the bearing surface and the compression spring biases the bushing against the retainer in sliding engagement to resist rotation of the holder on the holder base.

Abstract: A system of removably securing pockets with garments, vehicles, walls, etc. The system includes a plurality of attachment units which are arranged in selected locations over a surface. Each attachment unit includes at least one tab. Each tab comprises a first end permanently secured with the surface and a second end extending outwardly from the first end. The second end is operable to pivot into a superimposed position over the first end and to a position parallel with the first end. The pocket includes a plurality of longitudinal edges and outer and inner sides. Fastener members are secured along the outer and inner sides and adjacent selected of the edges of the surface. In use, the first and second ends of the tabs are separated from the superimposed positions allowing the fastener members along the inner side of the pocket to be secured with the fastener members carried by the first end of the tab.

Abstract: An integrated light-emitting diode (LED) indicator display assembly having a carrier plate including a plurality of LED mounting steps. Electrical contact leads for LEDs carried on the mounting steps extend through openings in the mounting steps and out the bottom side of the carrier plate for engaging a metal fret to power the LED array. Preferably, a vibration dampening member is positioned between the LED and the LED mounting step, and a protective covering is applied over the metal fret along the bottom side of the carrier plate to enclose the metal fret and secures the metal fret in place.

Abstract: A drag strap having a dual handle system for allowing one or more persons to use the strap when dragging an injure person. The drag strap is preferably constructed of a high tensile strength woven nylon tape which is flexible and weather resistant. The drag strap includes an adjustable connector system for quick attachment and adaptability in securing the strap to an injured person.

Abstract: A foundation wall vapor barrier system comprising a wall vapor barrier extending vertically along an interior portion of a foundation wall to resist moisture transfer through the foundation wall. The wall vapor barrier includes a non-woven fibrous core layer, a moisture impervious solid top layer bonded to and completely covering a first side of the core layer, a moisture impervious solid bottom layer bonded to a second side of the core layer opposite the first side, and, an adhesion strip defined by an absence of the bottom layer along a portion of the second side exposing the core layer for receiving adhesive to secure the wall vapor barrier to the foundation wall. A fire retardant low-VOC compliant non-solvent adhesive is disposed in the adhesion strip mounting the core layer to the foundation wall without mechanical fasteners.
