  • Patent number: 8193756
Abstract: A drive system for a compressor of a chiller system includes a variable speed drive. The variable speed drive is arranged to receive an input AC voltage at a fixed AC input voltage and provide an output AC power at a variable voltage and variable frequency. The variable speed drive includes a converter connected to an AC power source providing the input AC voltage. The converter is arranged to convert the input AC voltage to a DC voltage. A DC link is connected to the converter. The DC link filters and stores the DC voltage from the converter. An inverter is connected to the DC link. A motor connectable to the compressor for powering the compressor. An active filter connected in parallel with the motor. The active filter is arranged to generate high frequency currents having a magnitude and opposite polarity, with respect to the output AC power of the variable speed drive. • Patent number: 8186087
Abstract: A trigger blocking device comprised of a frame removably affixed around a trigger guard of a rifle. The trigger blocking device holds a blocking shaft behind the trigger, the shaft being capable of sliding longitudinally or axially into two separate positions, one position where the shaft blocks the operation of the trigger and the other position where a recessed area in the shaft forms a trigger channel, when moved into position, allows the operation of the trigger. The blocking shaft extends across the frame and is positioned behind the trigger. When the blocking shaft is behind the trigger in a first position with the trigger channel not aligned with the trigger, the blocking shaft prevents rearward movement of the trigger, preventing the firearm from firing.

  • Patent number: 8181767
Abstract: The invention is directed to an inverting device which takes one or more articles from a first device, inverts the article(s), and discharges the article(s) onto a second device that may be at essentially the same relative height as the first device. The inverting device has a rotating device with two opposed surfaces that are spaced apart a distance slightly greater than the height of the article. Once the article(s) has been moved into position in the rotating device, the rotating device rotates 180 degrees about a transverse axis, resulting in the inversion of the article. The new orientation of the article may facilitate further processing in a manufacturing environment, such as cleaning, filling, labeling, stacking or any other activity that relies on a specific product disposition.
