    Abstract: A self propelled two speed vehicle suitable for use as a golf cart, in which the frame is arranged to carry one or two golfers and/or their golf clubs over short distances such as are encountered in golf course use. The cart is provided with a low level flat rearwardly directed riding platform applied between the two rear wheels of the vehicle which enables one or two persons to ride the scooter by standing on the platform, in side by side relation where two persons are to ride the vehicle, with the vehicle frame and platform being arranged for ease of mounting and dismounting same by stepping up or stepping down from the rear of the vehicle. The vehicle has a single foot actuated control lever for actuating or stopping the vehicle, and a steering wheel for steering the vehicle front wheel, which control lever and steering wheel are centered so that a rider standing in either the right or left side positions on the riding platform can operate the scooter vehicle.

    Abstract: A thermal anemometer arranged to measure air velocity over a wide range of ambient temperatures and velocities, and a method of measuring such air velocity free of influence of ambient temperature, in which the anemometer comprises a probe containing two separate and distinct sensing elements, and a hand held electronic read out unit that contains sensing signal electronic processing circuitry, function control, and an analog read out meter, with the probe and read out unit being interconnected by a self coiling cable. The probe sensing elements are a self heated thermistor and a solid state temperature sensing device, that are separately but simultaneously exposed, in use of the instrument, to the air flow, with the energy consumed by the thermistor, and its resulting signal, being an indication of both the velocity of the air stream and the difference in temperature between the forced operating temperature of the thermistor and the air stream ambient temperature.

    Abstract: A waste digestion unit which comprises a container, a waste inlet into the container, an outlet from the container for digested waste, a gas bleed outlet from the container and a stirrer for stirring the contents of the container. The inlet, waste outlet, bleed outlet and stirrer are arranged so that the container can be mounted in position and partially filled with waste to a level defined by the waste outlet to provide a gas space above the waste. In this position of the container the bleed outlet is above the waste level and, the inlet discharges into the container below the waste level.     Abstract: A bag dispensing package includes a stack of flat bags and a surrounding flexible receptacle, conveniently in the form of a plastic bag. Each flat bag within the receptacle includes a pair of opposed walls, one of the walls having a manually graspable flap on an outwardly facing surface and the other wall including an extension that extends outwardly from the remainder of the bag. The flexible receptacle includes an access opening arranged to communicate with the manually graspable flap of the uppermost bag of the stack while the remainder of the receptacle retains the extension of the outermost bag within the receptacle. The access opening is normally closed, being defined by a pattern of perforations so that when it is desired to utilize the bags, the opening is formed by tearing the receptacle along the pattern of perforations. The uppermost bag is then removed by grasping the manually graspable flap and pulling the bag outwardly of the receptacle.
