An embodiment of the present invention may include allowing multiple chemical reactions to proceed without the isolation of chemical intermediates. Thus, multiple reactions may occur in one reaction vessel allowing for a considerable decrease in the cycle-time. The present invention also provides a novel method for inhibiting degradation while isolating a structure of a pharmaceutical composition.

The inventive formulation provides a larger duration of parasite control at a faster rate of control. The inventive formula remains effective up to three months from the first application. Moreover, the inventive formulations prevent tick attachment to the animal, thereby providing protection against tick borne diseases. The ectoparasites which may be controlled, treated or prevented by the present invention includes ticks, fleas, mites, mange, lice, mosquitoes, flies and cattle grubs.

The formulation is made by mixing the abamectin and benzyl alcohol and mixing this with triclabendazole and butyl dioxitol. The present invention overcomes the solubility difficulties of triclabendazole and presents the triclabendazole in a solution.
