Abstract: The invention describes a method for measuring the shape of a reflective surface (14) and a corresponding system which has at least one pattern (15) for reflection at the reflective surface (14) and at least one camera (1) for viewing the pattern (15) which is reflected at the surface (14) pixel by pixel, wherein the position and orientation of the camera (1) and of the pattern (15) are known. In order to reliably measure the shape of reflective surfaces with a small amount of equipment complexity, the viewing directions of the camera (1), which are known for the pixels (8), and the positions of the pattern (15), which correspond to the mapping of the reflected pattern (15) to pixels (8) of the camera (1), are used to determine the surface angle and surface height for the purpose of measuring the shape.

Abstract: A unit for connecting conductors to terminals having a body having a bottom, and devices for connecting two conductors to a same terminal and disconnecting one of the conductors without disconnecting the other conductor as well as connecting to the terminal one of the conductors and thereafter the other conductor also without the one conductor being affected, with acting on the conductors perpendicularly to the bottom of the body.

Abstract: An external rearview mirror has a mirror plate, a device for regulating a position of the mirror plate and including an activator, a support structure for supporting the activator, a housing accommodating the mirror plate, the activator and the support structure, a vertical pivot point located inside the housing, a device for stabilization of mirror positions incorporated in the support structure and assembled in an articulated way around the post, a base placable on a side of a vehicle and having a protuberance in which the post is supported, and a reinforcing structure located in the base, the support structure, the post and the reinforcing structure being composed of a plastic material which is similar to a plastic material for other components wherein a main part, a fitting part, receptors of screws, a lateral part in form of a sleeve and its indented side, are all composed of a plastic material and together form a single integral element.

Abstract: A housing for a device mountable on a mounting surface has a housing element provided with two mounting flanges each having a passage adapted to extend substantially perpendicularly to the mounting surface and formed to receive a mounting bolt, two bushings extending through the mounting flanges and surrounding the passages, the bushings being composed of metal and injection molded with a material of the housing element, each of the passages being formed as an elongated hole with a width adapted to correspond to a diameter of the bolts, the bushings corresponding to a contour of the passages and surrounding the passages with a radial distance therefrom, the bushings being provided with peripheral formations which are filled with the material of the housing element, and the bushings at an inner peripheral side being free from the material of the housing over a part of an axial length of the bushings and a lower side of the mounting flanges.

Abstract: A suspension chain head for a mechanically assembled strand-oriented sling chain system has an annular suspension member for suspending the chain head, at least one forked member arranged for carrying an outlet member of the chain head, and a shackle which connects the forked member to the suspension member. The shackle has a first end portion by which it is hung to the suspension member, and a second end portion provided with a pin which connects the shackle to the forked member and is secured against nondestructive disengagement from the forked member. A locking pin is provided for securing the shackle pin to the forked member. The locking pin may be formed as a spring cotter engaged in a circular groove which is provided in the shackle.
