Abstract: Machine-enabled methods of, and system, and processor readable media, embodiments for, tone quantization error diffusion comprising a first stage process and a second stage process. where pre-calibrated index tables may be applied by which quantized pixels may be expressed according to halftones.
Abstract: Computer implemented methods and computing systems wherein relationships of words or phrases within a textual corpus are assessed via frequencies of occurrence of particular words or phrases and via frequencies of co-occurrence of particular pairs of words or phrases within defined tracts of text from within the textual corpus.

Abstract: Multilevel color page image rendering via multi-bit output devices including the rounding of tone levels, dual tone scan patterns and the selecting or generating of halftone cells and electrophotography engines and image processors for rendering multilevel tone density objects such as font and line art.
Abstract: A dispenser having a first member rotatably engaging a second member to form a cavity from which sheets such as flat bags may be dispensed via a lineal aperture and a sheet-guiding member extending from the first member into the cavity.
Abstract: A system (100) for directing incident sun light to a receiver (150) based on an integral imager (116) is disclosed. The system includes an imager (116) mounted to a reflector (112); a tracking controller (226) coupled to the imager; and one or more actuators (114) connected to the reflector and tracking controller. The tracking controller (226) is configured to receive and process image data from the imager (116); determine angular positions of a radiation source and target relative to the mirror normal vector (N) based on the image data; and orient the reflector with the axis bisecting the angular positions of the sun and receiver (150). When the optical axis of the imager is precisely aligned with the vector normal to the reflector, the source and target will be detected as antipodal spots (320, 330) with respect to the center of the imager's field of view, which may be used to effectively track the sun or like object.
Abstract: A color-changing light array powered by a driver circuit, the driver circuit responsive to a controller circuit, and the controller circuit configured to change display lighting patterns or colors based on modes of operation and off-on power cycle intervals.
Abstract: The embodiments of the invention relate to client-side bandwidth allocation or rate-lowering processes, systems, and devices. In general, a received continuous stream is received at a lower rate while a discrete media stream is also being received by the client, and having the received continuous stream be received at a previous higher rate when the client is no longer receiving the discrete media stream.
Abstract: A hydroponic liquid nutrient circulation system which includes a plurality of liquid reservoirs, each with a sidewall opening that receives the shank of a split tee device that has separate liquid inlet and outlet passages for flow of liquids into, and out of, the internal space of the reservoirs. The system may include a controller reservoir connected to one or more of these liquid reservoirs.
Abstract: The embodiments of the present invention provide a mechanism to synchronize centralized networks. Each centralized network includes a central coordinator controlling and managing network activities. The embodiments provide a way of allocating beacon slots, such that one of the beacon slots is synchronized to the alternating current line cycle and thus functions as a master timing sequence. In some embodiments, methods, devices, and systems are provided for detecting transmissions of non-coordinating networks.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention provide methods, systems, and devices that coordinate access to a common medium between two networks. Typically, a gateway is employed that requests resources from a home central coordinator and/or access coordinator. If resources are not available from the home central coordinator and the access coordinator, a neighbor network protocol is performed to obtain additional resources.

Abstract: The embodiments of the invention relate to source content streaming, particularly to transmitting data units scheduled for dropping or non-transmission. This data unit in the buffer scheduled for dropping is instead transmitted by dropping one or more consecutive data units later in the transmission order in the buffer and which meet a lower priority threshold. In some embodiments, the data unit is transmitted with a modified time value, e.g., a modified timestamp and/or an allowable presentation time range value.
