Abstract: A universal serial bus (USB) interface connection for one of a USB connector and a USB port of a device comprises an insulating substrate including a first side and a second side. First, second, third and fourth conductors are arranged adjacent to each other on the first side of the insulating substrate and have a port side and a second side. First, second, third and fourth conductors are arranged adjacent to each other on the second side of the insulating substrate and have a port side and a second side. The USB connector can be connected in first and second orientations.

Abstract: A network monitoring system operates on a computer including processor for running a multi-tasking operating system capable of having active and inactive windows. The computer is connected to a server or a service which provides access to a user application subject to a license restriction. When the user application is associated with the active window, the user application is executed by the processor. A license recovering system includes a display coupled to the processor for displaying a user interface of the operating system. A user prompting device, run by the processor, the display and associated with an inactive window, prompts a user when the the inactive window has been inactive for a period greater than a first predetermined period. A closing device closes the user application when the inactive window has been inactive for a period greater than a second predetermined period.
Abstract: An orthopedic chair for supporting a person wearing a hip spica cast in an upright position includes a seat having a front side and a rear side. A rear support, connected to the seat along said rear side, extends upwardly therefrom. A front support, spaced from the rear support, is connected to the seat along said front side and extends upwardly therefrom. A seat supporting device supports the seat above a surface. The person is supported in an upright position by said seat, and said front and rear supports with one leg extending between one side of said front support and said rear support and another leg extending between an opposite side of said front support and said rear support. Stabilizing legs can be provided to prevent tipping. Adjustment devices allow adjustment of seat height and width between the front and rear supports.
Abstract: A tree stand for engaging a trunk of a tree to support the tree includes a cylindrical support including first and second openings. A base encloses the second opening of the cylindrical support. A connecting device connects the trunk to the base and the cylindrical support through the first opening. A plurality of first connectors extend from one end of the base and the cylindrical support. A plurality of second connectors are located on one end of a plurality of legs. A plurality of first connectors mate with a plurality of second connectors to attach the plurality of legs to the base and the cylindrical support while the tree is in an upright position and resting on the base and the cylindrical support.

Abstract: An air laying forming station (ALFS) forms a nonwoven substrate from a first material and a second material having at least one physical characteristic substantially different from the first material. The ALFS includes a forming chamber and a forming screen, moving relative to the forming chamber, for receiving deposit of the first and second materials. A first distributor supplies the first material. A vacuum source provides an air flow which deposits the first material onto the forming screen. A second distributor delivers the second material, independently from the first material between the first distributor and the forming screen, by gravity along one or more baffle members.
