  • Patent number: 5253490
Abstract: A hinged insert ring which comprises two precisely crafted ring bodies which are joined together at the bottom of their shanks, which each have two protrusions, with pins thereby creating an operable hinge. The ring bodies are each made of any base metal (e.g. gold, silver, platinum, brass, copper, etc.), and can be formed into any aestetically pleasing design or shape. The hinged double ring can open or close to provide entirely different looks. When the the two precisely crafted ring bodies are in an "open position", a third, independent ring body, with a different design or having a stone or other piece of jewelry attached at its top, can be inserted therebetween and enclosed within the first two ring bodies when they are place in the "closed" position by way of the hinge means. In the closed position, on the other hand, the two precisely crafted ring bodies form a completed ring. This new and unobvious design allows for the wearer to own a single ring yet have an entire line of different looking pieces.

  • Patent number: 5240360
Abstract: Machine tool with a driving spindle held in a carrier, an exchangeable machining head that can be coupled with the carrier and a tool spindle in the machining head that can be coupled with the driving spindle and adjustment and locking means on the carrier for locking the machining head onto the carrier. The machining head can be withdrawn from a magazine for machining heads by means of said adjustment and locking means and it can be coupled with and locked onto the machine tool and, after releasing, it can be brought into any desired angular position relative to the machine tool and locked again.

  • Patent number: 5189922
Abstract: A force impulse generator designed for machines with impulse action used for press working of metals, ceramics, cermet and other materials can produce force impulses with high values and large amplitude of displacement of the impulse body with reduced overall size, high efficiency, increased service life and neutralized side forces. The generator includes a stationary base to which there is movably connected by means of columns a box shaped impulse body. In a cavity formed between the base and body, there are disposed two identical crank mechanisms, each of which has a bottom hinge segment, a bottom segment arm, a middle hinge segment, a top segment arm and a top hinge segment. The middle hinge segments are driven by connecting rods connected to a common crankshaft. As a result the impulse body is displaced reciprocally and produces an impulse of force.

  • Patent number: 5184807
Abstract: An electric hoist which includes a drum mounted in a carrying frame, and an electric motor mounted on one end face of the carrying frame, and connected kinematically to a planetary reduction gear, whose housing is disposed totally inside the drum. The housing is connected to the drum by a gear diaphragm and a gear ring. The carrying frame is connected by a connecting shaft and spline joints to the output shaft of a stem, and the gear ring is shaped as an integral part of the drum.
