  • Patent number: 4704649
Abstract: A magnetic disk cartridge comprises a case, a magnetic disk sheet rotatably housed in the case, and an approximately columnar center core positioned inside of the case and having a bottom surface formed as a magnetic chuck surface exposed from an aperture at the center of the case. The center core is provided with a disk sheet securing surface which faces the side opposite to the magnetic chuck surface and which is formed to a size not larger than the outer diameter of the magnetic chuck surface and further the marginal portion of which is stepped down as so not to contact the disk sheet. The magnetic disk sheet is secured to the disk sheet securing surface.

  • Patent number: 4704530
Abstract: A radiation image read-out apparatus comprises a section for reading out a radiation image stored in a stimulable phosphor sheet, a section for erasing the radiation energy remaining on the stimulable phosphor sheet after image read-out, and a section for stacking the stimulable phosphor sheets after erasing. The erasing section and the stacking section are positioned above the read-out section. A read-out sheet conveyance system is positioned between the read-out section and the erasing section for conveying the stimulable phosphor sheet so that the surface of the stimulable phosphor sheet facing up at the read-out section faces up also at the erasing section. An erased sheet conveyance system is positioned between the erasing section and the stacking section for conveying the stimulable phosphor sheet so that the surface of the stimulable phosphor sheet facing up at the erasing section faces down at the stacking section.

  • Patent number: 4704624
Abstract: A semiconductor photoelectric conversion device comprises a first non-single crystal semiconductor layer of a first conductivity type. A second non-single crystal semiconductor layer of substantially an intrinsic conductivity type is formed on the first semiconductor layer; the second layer comprises a first crystallized region and a second crystallized region. The second crystallized region has a similar crystalline structure as that of the first semiconductor layer and extends from the first semiconductor layer toward the first crystallized region where the degree of crystallization of the first crystallized region is less than that of the second crystallized region. A third non-single crystal semiconductor layer of a second semiconductor type opposite to said first conductivity type is formed on the intrinsic layer.

  • Patent number: 4704529
Abstract: A radiation image recording apparatus for recording a radiation image of an object at a variable height comprises a delivery stationary transfer mechanism and a receiving stationary transfer mechanism fixedly provided spaced from each other. A recording table unit which is movable back and forth between the stationary transfer mechanisms and is provided with a receiving transfer mechanism for introducing a recording medium sheet into the recording table unit and a delivery transfer mechanism for discharging the recording medium sheet from the recording table unit. At least a pair of relay transfer mechanisms which are movable in the direction of movement of the recording table unit integrally with each other, one between the delivery stationary transfer mechanism and the receiving transfer mechanism, and the other between the receiving stationary transfer mechanism and the delivery transfer mechanism.

  • Patent number: 4703383
Abstract: A thin-film magnetic film composed of a substrate, a lower magnetic layer, a first insulating layer, a coil conductor, a second insulating layer, and an upper magnetic layer accumulated in this order. The cross-section of the coil conductor has a trapezoidal shape having skirts at the lower end of the sides thereof. Owing to the presence of the skirts, the surface of the second insulating layer formed thereon can be made flat by ion etching, and consequently the surface of the upper magntic layer is made flat. The incident angle of the ion beam and the thickness of the photoresist used in the ion etching process to make the pattern of the coil conductor layer are determined so that the cross-sectional shape of the coil conductor is a trapezoid having skirts at the lower ends thereof.
