  • Patent number: 7000574
Abstract: A method of operating a cooling and heating circuit of a motor vehicle driven by an internal combustion engine includes providing a first cooling medium path through a bypass conduit, a second cooling medium path through a main cooler of the internal combustion engine, a third cooling medium path through a heating heat exchanger, subdividing the cooling medium paths by an electrically actuated valves and forming cooling medium flows by an electrically driven pump, controlling both the valves and the pump by an electronic control unit in dependence on operational and environmental parameters as well as nominal values, reversing a feeding direction of the electrically operated pump in a first operational phase of the internal combustion engine at low temperatures of the internal combustion engine and turned on first cooling medium path, and feeding the cooling medium by the pump in a lower region of the internal combustion engine.

  • Patent number: 6742768
Abstract: This table comprises scissor arms (1, 2) assembled on a common rotation axis (3) and two thrust shafts (6, 7) shifting by the action of drive means and acting on the opposite sides of the scissor arms (1, 2), causing the tabletop (5) to lift or lower. The drive means comprise: a geared motor (8) providing a rotational movement to a first thrust shaft (6); an anti-rotation support (9) preventing the geared motor (8) from rotating around said first thrust shaft (6), and belts (10) fixed to the anti-rotation support (9) by one of their ends and to the periphery of the first thrust shaft (6) by the opposite end, wrapping around the second thrust shaft (7) with their intermediate area.

  • Patent number: 5636730
Abstract: The switch housing for a combined ignition and starting switch of a motor vehicle has a peripheral housing wall (8) having a substantially circular transverse cross-section and a central axis (9) substantially parallel to it, an extended portion (5) laterally projecting approximately tangentially to the peripheral housing wall (8) and displaced laterally from the central axis (9), an insert device (7) held releasably in the extended portion (5) and a snap lock device (16,17,20,21) for releasably holding the insert device (7) in the extended portion (5). The extended portion (5) is provided with a receptacle (2) for the insert device (7) and the receptacle opening (6) for the receptacle (2) is of a size and shape so as to be completely covered by the insert device (7) received in it.

  • Patent number: 4068546
Abstract: A screw machine has a displaceable headstock and is provided with a pusher rod having at its front end a chuck that engages the rear end of a bar that passes axially through the headstock. This pusher rod is connected to a chain drive at least one of whose sprockets is connectable through a clutch to a gear meshing with a rack carried on the headstock. When this clutch is closed the headstock and pusher rod are positively locked together for joint displacement. During feed operations the two are disconnected so that the pusher rod can displace a new length of bar through the headstock, and the pusher rod may be arrested during backward displacement of the headstock in order to allow the chuck thereof to get new purchase on the bar.
