    Abstract: The invention relates to a bearing arrangement and parts suitable for said arrangement, such as a roller bearing, which is suitable for the absorption of shock loads. To that purpose those parts which come into contact with each other under shock loads or great loads are provided on one of the adjacent outer contact surfaces facing each other with a friction-reducing coating. Such a coating may contain molybdenum or bronze and is suitably applied by means of a thermal spraying method, such as wire spraying. The bearing arrangements provided by the invention have a significantly longer operational life.

    Abstract: A binding-agent composition for solvent-based or aqueous coating agents can be cured at low temperature to produce coatings which are non-yellowing and resistant to solvents. The binding-agent composition contains binding-agent components based on polyethers, polyesters, polyether polyesters and/or (meth)acrylic copolymers with, in each case, at least one acryloyl group and at least one epoxide group in the molecule, whereby the acryloyl groups and epoxide groups are present in the ratio 2:8 to 8:2. Also included are several polyamines as curing agents in a proportion of equivalent weights ranging from 2:0.5 to 1:1.5. The binding agents are used in pigmented and pigment-free lacquers, for use particularly in multi-layer lacquering.

    Abstract: A yacht model or a full scale yacht includes a hull and a mast is provided on the hull to extend upward from the hull to support a main sail. A spinnaker is provided in front of the mast and the spinnaker is made of a plastic material and formed in a bulged configuration to possess an appearance of receiving wind. The spinnaker has a top portion connected to an upper portion of the mast in a manner which allows a turning movement of the spinnaker about the mast. Booms may be provided between the mast and a lower portion of the spinnaker for maintaining the lower portion of the spinnaker in a position spaced from the mast while allowing the turning movement. The lower portion of the spinnaker is connected at the opposite sides to a rear portion of the hull through strap like flexible connecting members.
