    Abstract: A novel crosslinker composition based on a combination of 1,3,5-tris-(2-carboxyethyl)isocyanurate and a dicarboxylic acid crosslinking agent is provided. Also provided is a curable epoxy composition employing, as the crosslinker component, a combination of 1,3,5-tris-(2-carboxyethyl)isocyanurate and a dicarboxylic acid crosslinking agent, which curable composition finds use, for example, in coating applications. When cured, these coatings provide hard, durable and resistant films of low gloss.
