Abstract: A cutter includes a male blade, a female blade, an advancement and retraction controller and a suction device. The male blade includes: a linear cutting portion linearly shaped with a predetermined thickness in a center part; a rounded cutting portion where a radius having a substantially arc shape in planar view is continuously formed from the linear cutting portion; and an end provided adjacent to the rounded cutting portion. The female blade has a fitting portion that is a hole conforming to the profile of the male blade in planar view and to which the male blade is fitted. On a lateral side of the female blade, an elongated hole for inserting a base film from one lateral side to the other lateral side is formed as an insertion portion.
Abstract: The invention relates to the use, optionally together with oral contraception, of estradiol valerate or 17?-estradiol in combination with 17?-cyanomethyl-17-?-hydroxyestra-4,9-dien-3-one (dienogest) in a multistage or single-stage combination preparation for oral therapy to maintain and/or increase feminine libido. The total number of daily dose units of the multistage combination and of a pharmaceutically harmless placebo or a single-stage combination and optionally the pharmaceutically harmless placebo-containing or placebo- and hormone-free daily dose units amounts to 28 daily dose units.

Abstract: In a process for the preparation of ring compounds via a combinatorial synthesis, the reaction procedure is based on a Suzuki coupling; subsequent halo-demetallation and finally a further Suzuki coupling. The Suzuki couplings are each carried out with a boronic acid or a boronic acid ester. The reaction procedure uses provides novel ring compounds and uses novel synthesis units used for this purpose. The novel ring compounds are suitable for use as constituents in liquid-crystalline mixtures.

Abstract: The present invention describes a method of producing fatty acid alkyl esters and glycerin implementing, in a reaction section, a set of transesterification reactions between a vegetable or animal oil and an aliphatic monoalcohol, and using a heterogeneous solid catalyst, comprising: a) a stage of recontacting the effluent coming from the reaction section, and separated from the excess alcohol, with a glycerin phase, b) a stage of mixing said effluent with said glycerin phase, and c) a glycerin phase decantation stage. The supernatent ester phase obtained after decantation is then optionally sent to a coalescer, also allowing separation of the glycerin, then to a purification stage by adsorption on solids.
